Vintage Slag Glass Urn Lamp Elegantly Decorated Gold Gilt Base Glass Prisms
Vintage Slag Glass Urn Lamp. W/ Hanging Glass Crystal Prisms. Elegantly Decorated Gold Gilt Base. Hercules or Atlas Figure Holding up Shade. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself! Just a beautiful design on this slag glass urn lamp. The slag glass components are a white color and are on the sides, top and bottom. The top part is done as a lid and is removable. Then what really finishes the look of this lamp off are the glass prisms around the whole perimeter of the lamp. The prisms are all there, some minor chipping and dirtiness. Copper hangers for the crystal prisms are not all original. Can see bubbling in them when the glass was cast, nice touch to reflect age. The lamp dates to the circa 1920s to the 1930s period. Very intricately detailed metal frame that is gold colored. Appears to be a Hercules or Atlas figure, most likely Atlas, holding up the shade. The shade had gold colored designs of columns, curtains and full length women that securely hold the glass and accentuate the beauty of the shade. Just beautiful when lit, and yes, this lamp does work (no bulb will be provided)! All the metal frame seems to be intact, no missing pieces or repairs. We also do not observe any cracks, hairlines or repairs in any of the pieces of slag glass. The glass crystal prisms will be taken off the shade and packed away separately for their safety/ So, expect some re-assembly on your part. The metal base has raised design on it. The frame has a gold colored bronzed look to it. We do not see any maker markings on the lamp. Looks very similar to Pittsburgh Glass Lighting pieces we have had in the past. Could be marked and we just don’t know what we should be looking for. The electric cord on the lamp was replaced at some point. Still looks to be in good shape, no cracking or fraying. Interesting tie-in of the wiring under the lamp base. You may want to have an electrician take a look at before you use for any length of time. The Vtg Slag Glass Urn Lamp is 17.5″ tall, by 9″ across at the widest part of the shade, by 5.25 across the bottom. Other items that can be seen in the pieces are not included, only the slag glass chandelier described here. Vintage Green Slag Glass Lamp Early 20th Century
Vintage slag glass lamp. The base is broken on the one side. I didn’t repair it. The internal components are marked Leviton but the lamp almost looks home made to me. A washer was added under the finial on top. The shade is easy to tip on the harp like a see saw but balances nice. Power components look good and work well.
Signed Miller 6 Panel Slag Glass Lamp (as Is)
Shade matches the lamp base. Shade is not signed. The glass color is Carmel. No cracks or breaks in the glass. All the glass tabs are in the shade are there. No breaks in the shade itself. The size of the shade is 8″ tall and 16″ across. The finial looks correct to the lamp itself. Base is marked on the underside Miller but no number. Underside of the lamp base has been modified with 2 pieces aluminum and a washer. Underside center of the pot metal base is missing that’s why it was modified. Top of the lamp base center pot metal is also missing. All of this is covered up with the outer lamp base stem. Paint loss on the base and the lamp stem. Along the bottom edge does have some hair line cracks but nothing is broken. Lamp has been rewired with 1 new socked, the other socket is marked Miller lamps. Height of the lamp is 201/2, Even the the modification the lamp is stable.

Stunning 1920s Pittsburgh Lamp Brass & Glass Co. Green Slag Glass Table Lamp – Mint Condition. For your consideration is a museum-quality example of American craftsmanship from the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Company PLB&G Co. This lamp features the highly desirable and rare vibrant green slag glass panels (often referred to as “malachite” or “jadeite” style) housed in an ornate cast iron frame with a classic Art Nouveau floral basket motif. No cracks, chips, “flea bites, ” or heat fractures. All panels are original, tight, and show beautiful marbling when illuminated. Base & Frame: The cast iron base and shade frame retain a rich, dark original patina. The original “Basket of Flowers” cast iron finial is present and undamaged. Functionality: Both original sockets and pull chains work perfectly. (Note: As with all antique electronics, a safety check or sympathetic rewiring is recommended for daily use). Height: 24 (to top of finial). Shade: 10″ Diameter x 6.5″ High. Finial: 4.5 Original Cast Iron. Weight: 12.2 lbs (Solid, heavy cast iron construction). This is a heavy, fragile antique. I will double-box the shade and base separately using professional-grade packing materials (archival tissue paper to preserve glass, bubble wrap and foam) to ensure it arrives safely. Vtg 6 Panel Marbled Slag Glass Boudoir Lamp Art Nouveau Oasis Scene Cast Iron Works. No broken glass panels. There is a couple that are loose. Unsure if it is missing something on the top of the shade or if this was how it was originally that it just sits on the top. Works- see photo it has a very old plug. See photos for measurements.
