Antique Vintage ARTS & CRAFTS Mission Slag Glass Panel Iron Lamp Light Shade
Up for sale is an Antique Vintage Arts & Crafts / Mission Cast Iron & Slag Glass Lamp Shade. This shade is unmarked; I don’t know if it came off of a chandelier/hanging light fixture or lamp. It’s a very heavy, well made shade – it weighs approximately 13 pounds. It measures 13 3/4″ x 13 3/4″ x 9 1/2 tall. It’s a cast iron frame with swirl green & gold glass panels. I don’t see any chips or cracks in the glass panels (I can’t see the edges/corners where they are inserted into the frame). The glass shows some areas of scratches, scuffs, dirt marks or areas of darkening/discoloration. The cast iron has spots of rust, tarnish, discoloration, general dirt/wear etc… Please use zoom function to see details on all photos. Photo(s) with soda can is for sizing reference/comparison. Antique Slag Glass Bronzed Table Lamp Domed Caramel & Coral Panel Shade EX B&H
This beautiful, vintage 1920s, antique lamp is in fine, original condition. The pull chain sockets operate with a good snap; one appears to be an old replacement. The heavy, bronzed cast iron and metal base retains it’s gorgeous patina as does the shade and finial. The lamp has the original wire and plug; it works but, the wiring should be replaced. The paneled shade is 16″ in diameter and, the overall height of the lamp is 23″. This is a stunning looking lamp that will enhance the look of any environment. The last pic shows a panel that is not cracked. There are some deep fissures from manufacturing in the old glass that give that appearance though. Looking from the inside… It’s definatly not cracked. Rare Cast Iron and Cast Metal, Slag Glass, Lamp Antique
This Is a Gorgeous Turn of the century Slag glass table lamp with a cast iron shade above a cast metal Base. The base has Sea birds flying over water with fish below. The base is heavy and a magnet will not stick. The finish has been Professionally refinished as close as to original as possible. The lamp has been rewired with Rayon and a period acorn style plug, The original Bryant socket dated 1890 was retained. The glass appears to be the original granite back Kokomo slag glass from that period and has no cracks. The shade measures aprox. 13 1/2″ square, the lamp stands about 19 1/2″ tall with a 6 1/2 square base. We have installed a 3-Level touch dimmer rather than an in-line switch. Large slag glass panel lamp Handel Tiffany era
A fairly large panel lamp. It measures about 22″ tall, while the shade measures about 171/2″ across. The shade and base are in fine condition. It retains its original glass with no damage. All the metal overlay work is in good condition with no damage. The original two socket base is also in good condition having been rewired at some point in time. One socket has the original ball pull while the other is a newer pull replacement. A very nice package.
