ANTIQUE Art Nouveau Table Lamp night LIGHTED BASE Slag Glass iron DOUBLE SOCKET
Right out of the 1920′s – 30′s. I believe that it is cast iron. Made right here in the USA. Art nouveau at it’s best. Here are some of its highlights. Made of very heavy and strong construction. 8 brown/cream paneled areas with no cracks or chips! Both sockets work independently. Highly desirable built in night or accent lamp (LOOKS FANTASTIC WHEN LIT) with original pull out/push in switch. Ornate a decorative finial with cap. The closest lamp I could find in design/age/quality is the Miller Lamp Co. I did find a marking on the inside socket that states USA. It has several light settings. Just the night light, just the top lights, all three lights, one of the top lights and the night light, etc. This was an estate sale find. It has been cleaned up but you may want to clean it further. It has some green patina from age on the base. The cord doesnt look to be original but functions as it should. All three lamps work as they should. I used 40w max bulbs in each which I would recommend. The lamp will accept LED, CFL, or standard house bulbs. It is just under 24″ tall and just under 8″ at it’s widest. Antique 1920′s Bronze & Slag Glass Tiffany Style Table Lamp
Antique bronze and six panel caramel and green slag glass Tiffany style table lamp with two light sockets from the 1920′s. The lamp measures 24″ tall and the shade is 16 1/2″ in diameter. One of the green panels has a crack in it as seen in the last photo. Otherwise the lamp is in excellent condition and works perfectly. If anyone knows what company made this lamp please let me know. Lamp has 6 panels in caramel colored glass with yellow & burgundy trumpet flowers and rows of delicate deep green leaf vines over-lay. Lamp has a deep brown finish and two sockets. It has been newly rewired with a period style cord & plug and is ready for use in your home. It is not signed but believe it to be a Rainaud lamp, due to the construction & shade pattern. Bradley & Hubbard Slag Stained Glass Overlay Handel Duffner Tiffany Era Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a great example of one of Bradley & Hubbard’s slag glass lamps. It has a wonderful heavy leaf filigree pattern and is done with really great yellow/caramel/white glass. This is an early lamp that may have even been gas at one time. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here as they can do a better job of describing this lamp than I can, but will say that this lamp is in excellent overall condition with no replaced glass and no missing filigree. This is a full sized table lamp with a 16″ diameter shade that stands 21″ tall. The base is solid cast brass with its original aged finish. This finish matches that on the shade and I believe both have been together from the beginning. It has been recently rewired and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Rare and unusual , this lamp has a great design in the shade of a floral bouquet that is accented with a nice red accents. Some wear consistent with age. One shade was glue back together. I think this is one of the most elegant slag glass lamp designs with art nouveau stylized lilies on the shade. Beautiful green slag glass lamp in excellent condition: no cracks to the glass panels, the filigree is all in place. Although not marked, I have seen this shade listed in the Empire Lamp catalogue. The brass plated base shows signs of wear but is a triple bulb design with old sockets. Finial is not original but stylistically correct for this lamp.
