Antique 1920′s Rainaud Co. Art Nouveau Slag Glass Table Lamp. 24H-NEEDS REWIRE
Beautiful 1920′s RAINAUD table lamp measuring 24 tall. Slag glass shade is octagonal with 8 curved glass panels held by a metal framework. Several of the glass panels have chips but only one is visible from the exterior and has been photographed. The lamp is not working. Only one side illuminates without the use of the pull chain. The shade will be double boxed and insured, but it is a very fragile piece so please consider this.

OLD VINTAGE RAINAUD 21 METAL TABLE LAMP LIGHT with CARMEL SLAG GLASS SHADE
I have had this for about 20 years, but know little about it. When I got it, I replaced the electrical wire, so it is in safe working condition. I also repainted the base. 21 inches tall, and the shade is approx. 16 inches in diameter. The bottom of the base is marked “Rainaud 3″ Lamp is in very well cared for condition, with no damage. All the glass panels are in fine condition, with no cracks. I describe all I see and all I know about each item. I try to use 12 pictures on all my auctions, trying to show all areas of every item. Antique 1920′s Rainaud Co. Art Nouveau 6 Panel Caramel Slag Glass Table Lamp #8 Made in the USA. The lamp has the original dual sockets with a single pull chain that works as new, and the electronic cord is good quality. All glass is flawless, and the lamp body and shade are solid, decorated with flowers, and draped urns with flame finials. As shown in the images, one metal flame detail is missing on the lower rim. The lamp looks, works, and offers so beautifully. 7 inches shade height. 20 inch total height. Rainaud Company made high quality lamps in Meriden, CT. From 1916 to about 1930. It specialized in lamps with metal bases and shades made of pierced metal over colored or slag glass. Please let us know if you have questions. Was Johnny on the spot!
