Antique Bradley & Hubbard 2 Socket Table Lamp with Bent Slag Glass Panel Shade. Measures about 21 1/4″ high as shown (would be slightly higher with finial), bottom base is 7 7/8″ wide across. Shade is 16 3/4″ wide and 7″ high. It weighs 16 pounds 4 ounces. The top of the base has the B&H markings. 1 glass panel is cracked but no glass pieces are missing, the top finial is missing, otherwise complete with a nice aged patina – see my 12 photos. Bradley & Hubbard is a name found on many metal objects. Walter Hubbard and his brother-in-law, Nathaniel Lyman Bradley, started making cast iron clocks, tables, frames, andirons, lamps, chandeliers, sconces, and sewing birds in 1854 in Meriden, Connecticut. Before it found large success with kerosene-burning lamps with glass shades in the 1870s, Bradley & Hubbard mainly produced clocks, along with call bells and sewing machines. The company became Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company in 1875. Charles Parker Company bought the firm in 1940.
Antique Arts & Crafts Era Square Frame Slag Glass Hanging Oil Lampfor Restor
CAME ACROSS THIS LAMP AT AN OLD CHESTER COUNTY. IT WAS IN THE BASEMENT COVERED. WITH A TORN UP BLANKET THAT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS THERE. FOR A VERY LONG TIME. (FRAME HAS SURFACE RUST). THERE WAS ALSO A BOX SITTING WITH IT THAT HAD BROKEN SLAG. PIECES, A SMOKE BELL, A SLAG HOLD CLIP THAT CAME OFF AND. A GLASS FONT AND BURNER. THE BURNER I THREW IN THE TRASH. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD. ON THE FLOOR WAS A BROKEN. WHEN I PICKED IT UP I NOTICED 10 OR SO 3′. STRINGS OF TINY GLASS BEADS HANGING OF THE BOTTOM. I WANTED TO KEEP THE ON THERE, BUT WHEN I TOUCHED THEM. THE LAST THREE PHOTOS SHOW THE WOOD. RODS ON EACH OF THE BOTTOM FOUR INSIDE SIDES THAT THE TASSELS HUNG. THERE WERE PROBABLY HUNDREDS OF STRINGS ON THE TASSELS. THE LAMP AT BOTTOM MEASURES AROUND 16′. THE SLAG HAD A THICK FILM ON IT. TELL WHAT THEY WERE. I CLEANED THEM SO YOUR ABLE TO. THE LAMP LOOKED LIKE IT WAS DROPPED. TOW OF THE LARGE PANELS BROKE INTO TWO PIECES. I DON’T KNOW IF THEY COULD BE GLUED. FIVE OF THE EIGHT SMALL PANELS SURVIVE. ONE IS IN HALF. I SAY IT WAS PROBABLY DROPPED BECAUSE. THE FRAME WAS BENT. I MOSTLY GOT IT BACK TO WHERE. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF A FEW SCREWS. IF YOUR NOT THERE TO RECEIVE IT. YOU WILL HAVE TO GHO TO YOUR P.
Antique Victorian Gothic Slag Glass Lantern Bronze Marble Base Uranium Neck Ball
Close to 3 feet tall at 33. The neck ball has a nice glow under the blacklight the slag glass looks greenish – glows more yellow when turned on. Great detail and no broken pieces. The top comes off with 4 screws to change the bulb. Thank You for the interest!

Beautiful antique green slag glass / stained glass lamp shade with exceptional early craftsmanship and a stunning illuminated glow. This rare paneled shade features creamy green marbled glass with a scalloped edge design that displays beautifully both lit and unlit. The shade has a very strong Arts & Crafts / Mission style appearance and fits over a standard glass oil lamp chimney or student lamp style fitter opening. The warm green marbling gives off an incredible vaseline-like glow when illuminated. A very attractive and uncommon shade that would work beautifully for. Arts & Crafts décor. The craftsmanship on this piece is excellent, with nicely formed leaded panels and elegant curved lines throughout. We were unable to locate another exactly like it. 8 widest point to widest point. Weight: 1 lb 3 oz. Condition: Antique preowned condition. No cracks in the glass were found during inspection. The glass displays beautifully with age-appropriate character and light wear consistent with antique lighting. Stunning 1920s Pittsburgh Lamp Brass & Glass Co. Green Slag Glass Table Lamp – Mint Condition. For your consideration is a museum-quality example of American craftsmanship from the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Company PLB&G Co. This lamp features the highly desirable and rare vibrant green slag glass panels (often referred to as “malachite” or “jadeite” style) housed in an ornate cast iron frame with a classic Art Nouveau floral basket motif. No cracks, chips, “flea bites, ” or heat fractures. All panels are original, tight, and show beautiful marbling when illuminated. Base & Frame: The cast iron base and shade frame retain a rich, dark original patina. The original “Basket of Flowers” cast iron finial is present and undamaged. Functionality: Both original sockets and pull chains work perfectly. (Note: As with all antique electronics, a safety check or sympathetic rewiring is recommended for daily use).
