Antique table lamp base for slag glass, panel shade, reverse obverse painted shades. Cast iron base and column, hefty base. Gold finish, red and green polychrome paint. Stands 24 tall including the finial. The base is 8 across at the bottom. All surface clean inside and out, new wiring wire throughout, plug end, insulators, modern pull chain fat boy sockets, tested safe and ready to use lamp base. No damage, just age related wear, some dark areas to the gold finish, subtle. Please see all pics. I stand behind my work 100%.

This antique slag glass table lamp has a matching lighted base. The shade has six caramel panels and the base has four, all are undamaged. The base lights up with a turn button switch that can be operated independently from the two pull chain sockets that light up the shade. Both the base and shade have a gold polychrome finish that is in great condition. The lamp has been rewired with cloth covered cord and is ready to use. The shade is 18 inches wide, the base is 7 inches wide and the whole lamp is 22 inches tall.

B&H Green Slag Glass 6 panel Parlor Lamp 18” Tall. Embossed Bronze Lamp Base and Stem with Floral Design. Rewired Single pull-chain socket acorn finial end of chain. The Shade has a pierced design. There is one small chip at the top of the spelter shade (see photo). The Shade is 7” Tall, 17 1/2” Wide Point to Point, 15 1/2” flat to Flat. In good used as found condition.

This lamp is a signed Miller table lamp with a beautiful caramel curved glass paneled shade. Notice the detailed floral design in the base of this lamp base which matches the floral designs that encircle the lamp shade and secures the six panels into each section and also provide an attractive look. This lamp measures 21 1/2? High is 16? Diameter on the shade and the base has a 7 1/2? Diameter. There are two light sockets that provide ample light for the home or office. This lamp is signed on the base’Miller’. Here is some information about the Miller lamp company. Miller was established in 1844 in Meriden, Conn. As Joel Miller and Son. The company got its start in lighting manufacture by producing metal candleholders, and then moved into kerosene lamps, gas lighting, and electric lighting as times changed. The name of the company changed too, becoming Edward Miller & Co. For a time, then The Miller Co. A mark of Miller or E M & CO on the base indicates a Miller lamp. Miller produced more expensive leaded glass lamps, but seized the opportunity to sell lighting for the middle classes as more and more homes were wired for electricity. A 1920 Philadelphia Electric Co. All the lamps are described as being “cast metal openwork” over “light amber art glass” and could be ordered in a variety of metal finishes including French brown, Grecian antique, Etruscan bronze and Florentine relief. While lamps were made with glass in colors other than amber, or caramel as it is often called now, amber predominates. According to a lighting catalog from the period, Amber is the color used in all [our] lamps. Amber has, by scientific tests been proven to be easiest on the eyes, and most restful when reading.
