Signed Miller 6 Panel Slag Glass Lamp (as Is)
Shade matches the lamp base. Shade is not signed. The glass color is Carmel. No cracks or breaks in the glass. All the glass tabs are in the shade are there. No breaks in the shade itself. The size of the shade is 8″ tall and 16″ across. The finial looks correct to the lamp itself. Base is marked on the underside Miller but no number. Underside of the lamp base has been modified with 2 pieces aluminum and a washer. Underside center of the pot metal base is missing that’s why it was modified. Top of the lamp base center pot metal is also missing. All of this is covered up with the outer lamp base stem. Paint loss on the base and the lamp stem. Along the bottom edge does have some hair line cracks but nothing is broken. Lamp has been rewired with 1 new socked, the other socket is marked Miller lamps. Height of the lamp is 201/2, Even the the modification the lamp is stable.

Stunning 1920s Pittsburgh Lamp Brass & Glass Co. Green Slag Glass Table Lamp – Mint Condition. For your consideration is a museum-quality example of American craftsmanship from the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Company PLB&G Co. This lamp features the highly desirable and rare vibrant green slag glass panels (often referred to as “malachite” or “jadeite” style) housed in an ornate cast iron frame with a classic Art Nouveau floral basket motif. No cracks, chips, “flea bites, ” or heat fractures. All panels are original, tight, and show beautiful marbling when illuminated. Base & Frame: The cast iron base and shade frame retain a rich, dark original patina. The original “Basket of Flowers” cast iron finial is present and undamaged. Functionality: Both original sockets and pull chains work perfectly. (Note: As with all antique electronics, a safety check or sympathetic rewiring is recommended for daily use). Height: 24 (to top of finial). Shade: 10″ Diameter x 6.5″ High. Finial: 4.5 Original Cast Iron. Weight: 12.2 lbs (Solid, heavy cast iron construction). This is a heavy, fragile antique. I will double-box the shade and base separately using professional-grade packing materials (archival tissue paper to preserve glass, bubble wrap and foam) to ensure it arrives safely.
