Large art noveau lamp with bent slag glass shade. This is a beautiful vintage electric table lamp. The lamp has a decorative heavy metal base with a single stem and two light sockets. Each socket has a chain pull. The lamp metals have a dark patina. The shade has a decorative metal overlay of trees in a forest scene with caramel color bent slag glass and blue slag glass inserts with a river and cattails and reeds. It has an on-off switch on the cord. The lamp is 25 1/2″ tall to the top of the finial and the shade is 21″ across and 12 high. We always recommend the wiring be replaced for everyday use. Rare Whaley Leaded Lamp Shade, Stained Glass, Slag Glass, Arts Crafts, Handel Era
Up for consideration is a very nice Whaley leaded glass shade. The shade has fantastic highend glass and wonderful brown patina. The shade is large 20 Dia. And is 7 1/2 tall. The top opening is 2 5/8. The shade is in great shape for a 100 year old shade with 8 to 10 tight heat cracks and one chip on the bottom edge and has no glass lose on the inside of the shade. Antique Art Nouveau Large 20 Panel Slag Glass Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Style
Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp. Being offered is a stunning antique Art Nouveau style slag glass lamp circa early 1900′s. This lamp is LARGE and impressive with 20 panels of glass, top section is a golden color, beige & yellow and the bottom row is a deep multi colored glass. Beautiful detailed overlay on the shade and a large cast brass base with raised leaves. Lamp has a great brown patina with some gold highlights. It has 4 antique Hubbell sockets, all work properly and it has been newly rewired with a period style plug & cord (there is an additional on/off switch on the cord so you don’t have to turn 4 sockets on every time you use it). Size, well it stands 29″ in height and the shade is 24″ wide. Base, finial and shade all original, no marriage here. I have seen this rare lamp a few times referred to as a Bradley & Hubbard but I see no marks. It is extremely well made and very heavy 28 lbs. Pictures just don’t do it justice. All parts of the lamp appear to be original, and the lamp itself looks as if it was rarely, if ever, used. We believe this lamp may have been created by the Peterson Art Furniture Co. Located in Faribault, Minnesota, in the early 1900′s. It is crafted in solid oak and it’s beautiful slag glass is shaded in pastel green and pink. It measures 23″ tall, 19″ square, and weighs 12.5 lbs. The base measures 8 x 8. The condition is incredible, and at 100 years of age, it works wonderfully with all it’s original parts. Leaded lamp, antique slag, stained glass arts and crafts, handel era, table lamp
Up for your consideration is an unsigned arts and crafts style lamp with a large and very deep floral mosaic leaded shade. The lamp is 24″ inches tall and the shade is 18″ inches in diameter and 10 inches deep. The shade is in good condition with very few tight hear cracks and it does appear there was some recent solder repair work done on the interior of the shade. The base has wear appropriate with its age and is wired with period correct cloth cover wire. Both sockets are replacements and are in working order. This is a Cast Metal Bronzed Spelter Table Lamp. Arked “Bradley & Hubbard”. Shade consisting of six bent panels with metal overlay decoration of bay leaves. Painted a caramel color with beautiful shaped pattern. Made during 1880′s – 1940′s. All of the glass is in perfect original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Lamp Measures 22 1/2” Tall. Shade measures 16 1/4” in Diameter. Packed to avoid damage in transit. Most of the items I sell are either vintage or antique, and are primarily acquired from Estate Finds.
