Antique HouzeX Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Houze 1928 Glows Works Uranium
This is an amazing HouzeX Glass lamp that still has the original sticker! It is 13″ tall to the top of the socket and 10″ tall to the top of the glass with a 2.5 wide base. It glows under UV light. This lamp will not come with a bulb, harp, or lamp shade. It comes as is. I think it was meant to have a clip on shade. There are scratches and cracks on the lamp, as shown in pictures. The parts screw together and can be loose at times, you just have to twist them. Some of the scratches/cracks in the base are brown.

This vintage 1930′s black and orange/white slag glass lamp. Was made by the Houze Glass Co. Marion, PA, FOR the Globe Specialty Company. It was made in the 1930s. The name Houze gave to the s lag glass was “Armand, ” named for the founder’s son, Armond. With a corded electric power source and a classic black with a orange/white marbled glass finish, this table lamp exudes elegance and charm. Measures 11.5″ tall, 4.5″ base. Fully restored, beautiful uranium glass table lamp I cleaned all the metal polished the brass bits and brass plated the cast iron and steel parts. All antique parts except for the center rod that holds the finial. The uranium spacer has a chip but it’s nicely hidden by the big check ring.
