Unique Art Glass & Metal Company New York Tree Trunk Base Solid Brass Lamp with Massive Slag Glass 8-Panel Shade. Great Estate Find, featuring a classic, truly magnificent lamp. Tree trunk with twisted root base. Pull Down Chain Sockets. Made by Unique Art Glass and Metal Company of New York. Circa Early 1900′s. As with all lamps by this company, the lamp is unsigned. The shade is Bradley Hubbard, date stamped “Pat’d Oct 20 08″. Measures 30” Tall X 24” in Diameter. Weighs over 29 pounds. The lamp is in perfect working and cosmetic condition, ready for use. Antique 8 Panel Slag Glass Victorian Beaded Table Lamp Ornate 13 Shade 18 Tall
This has a great look to it and has been kept in good vintage condition. There may be some scratching or surface wear from age which is to be expected. The metal has some chipping to the paint could use a good cleaning. There may be some missing beadwork. The cord is old and may need to be replaced. This piece measures just under 18 tall.
