Antique HOUZE Bridge Floor Lamp Uranium Vaseline CUSTARD Slag Glass Brass SWIVEL
This Antique HOUZE Bridge Floor Lamp is a stunning piece with a Victorian style design. Crafted from cast iron, brass, and glass, this extra-large lamp features a unique and colorful Uranium Vaseline Custard glass middle insert. Made in the United States in the early 1900s, this vintage lamp boasts intricate details and original parts, making it a prized addition to any collection. The lamp stands at 57.5 tall with an antique brass finish and a rotating head, making it both functional and visually captivating for anyone looking to add a touch of period charm to their space. Item has a very nice, vintage cord still intact and working. HOWEVER, I advise you to have this rewired for safety reasons! HOUZE lighting and lamps made the item, and Akro Agate made the glass insert. Glows very vibrantly using a normal 395nm UV black light. Very nice twisted stem, original metal pull chain, claw foot square base, and intricate, eye-catching detailing. The item measures roughly 57.5″tall × 11″ across the bridged arm top & 9″ × 9″ at the base. This is nice and very heavy! These are getting harder and harder to find! Item has holes in the flower petal like design, by the glass insert, for the option to hang gorgeous, uranium crystals from! The glass insert measures 8″ tall × 1.5″ wide × 1.5 long. 1920s-1930s Houze/Akro Agate Custard Slag Glass Table Lamp Art Deco Skyscraper
This lamp does not glow, although it is very similar to Houze uranium glass. There is some normal surface wear and minor paint loss on the iron base, but no chips or cracks in the glass. One of the little sliders that secure the harp around the socket is missing and the other is cracked from age. These are not really necessary as the harp fits snugly in the holder without them and is not loose. Needs a good cleaning. The electric works, but the wiring is old and should be inspected/replaced before use. Measures about 18-1/2″ tall including the finial with a 6″ square base at the feet.

This is vintage and pre-owned. This is an absolutely stunning lamp. Im not 100% sure if this is Edward Miller. This was rewired and works flawlessly. While lit, it is absolutely gorgeous. The shades are a custard color. There are a couple of small scratches on the shades. Please view the photos as they are part of the description. Seems to be a fairly unusual lamp that is fairly hard to find. I do see a lot of lost paint here and there and signs of wear. No chips to the glass and the pull chain works as it should.
