Antique Art Nouveau Bridge Arm Lamp Gothic Style Dark Red Slag Glass Brass Shade
We view lamps as more than lighting, we view them as art. As more than a way to brighten a room, a way to brighten ones day. Up for consideration is this Rare One of a Kind Antique Ornate Art Nouveau Bridge Arm Table Lamp featuring Gothic Style Red Slag Glass with Copper/Brass Shaded. The inside of the slag glass is frosted (acid wash) outside is clean/slick. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. Lamp was originally a floor lamp, converted to table lamp. There are no chips or cracks in slag glass. There are spits in the brass frame (see photos). There are areas of patina or tarnishing and age related fading, all areas (see photos). It measures approximately 16 inches from shade other side of base as shown in gallery photo, 8 inches square for footed base, 4.5 inches in diameter for shade and 26 inches tall. Very Fine Antique Art Nouveau Bronze Slag Glass Shade Tiffany Style Lamp
This is a fantastic looking antique Art Nouveau bronze lamp with handmade slag glass shade. I can not find a signature or maker’s name but the design of this piece is incredible. The lamp measures 23 in overall height. The base measures 8 1/2 wide at the bottom. The shade measures approximately 8″ tall x 16″ wide. About eight of the small glass panels have cracks or damage so please see photos for condition. Overall it is amazing piece. It has been rewired so it works well.
