Antique Edwardian Style Slag Glass Lamp Works! Bronzed Brass Base w/ Embossed Detailing. From the Estate of a Descendant of General William Seward Jr. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself! Just beautiful colors on this slag glass lamp. The slag glass components are a cream and tan/brown color. Can see bubbling in them when the glass was cast, nice touch to reflect age. The lamp dates to the circa 1930s to 1950s period. Very intricately detailed metal frame with nice cut out designs of trees and grasses that securely hold the glass and accentuate the beauty of the shade. Just beautiful when lit, and yes, this lamp does work (no bulb will be provided)! All the metal frame seems to be intact, no missing pieces or repairs. We also do not observe any cracks, hairlines or repairs in any of the pieces of slag glass, other than a piece missing at one end of a shade component at the bottom. Does not show thru the frame when set up. The brass frame has raised design on the bottom part. The frame has a gold colored bronzed look to it. We do not see any maker markings on the lamp. Looks very similar to Pittsburgh Glass Lighting pieces we have had in the past. Could be marked and we just don’t know what we should be looking for. The base of the lamp has a brass bronzed look to it. The hanger frame for the shade shows some finish loss to the arms. The electric cord on the lamp was replaced at some point. Still looks to be in good shape, no cracking or fraying. The Vtg Slag Glass Lamp is 20.5″ tall, by 16.75″ across the bottom of the lamp shade. The top of the shade is 5 across. Other items that can be seen in the pieces are not included, only the slag glass chandelier described here. Wiring and sockets look good, but would be best to have looked at by a certified electrician before using. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Slag Glass Lamp 6 Panel Overlay Bronzed Grapevine Fluted Base Royal Art Glass Co
This beautifully designed lamp features a fully integrated grapevine botanical motif spanning from the heavily detailed cast base through the overlay caramel slag glass shade. The Base & Fluted Column. The heavy, detailed white metal base features a stately, multi-sided fluted architectural column wrapped in an intricate climbing grapevine design, highlighting sculpted three-lobed leaves and cascading grape clusters. The wide, flared foot shows clean radiating classical panels terminating in a highly detailed repeating blossom border. The raw metal underside features a factory-molded, raised “RY” monogram seal in relief alongside the production model/mold number 1802-W. The Shade & Hardware. The six-sided hexagonal frame features an overlay filigree depicting a matching blossomed arbor layered over six gorgeous, heavy caramel and cream opalescent slag glass panels. See photos for detail and condition. Spanish/Gothic/Mediterranean Metal & Gold/Amber slag glass hanging pendant lights. This vintage Spanish Revival accent lamps feature a hexagonal black metal frame and textured amber slag glass panels with ornate floral trim. Style & Era: Mid-century Spanish Revival / Mediterranean Gothic style. Materials: Painted black metal with heavy textured gold/amber slag glass. Design Details: Hexagonal flared silhouette with decorative floral castings along the 6 vertical ribs. Lamps measure approximately 14 3/4″ tall, 7 1/2″ across top & base. I have left them in found condition but the glass can be removed and they could be repainted if that is your preference. Raised floral pattern across each rib. Glass is in very good condition. I do not see any cracks. Lights have been tested & work. There is a ground wire so we assume these to be from the 1960s or 1970s. 5 MATCHING AVAILABLE, PRICE IS PER LAMP.

Vintage EF & EF Industries model 545X table lamp with an ornate cast metal base and an 8-panel cream marbled slag glass shade. Beautiful warm glow when illuminated. Gothic / Art Nouveau-inspired design. 18 tall to the top of the finial. 10 ½ across the bottom. Shade and finial included. Tested; light operates properly. Condition: Vintage with age-related wear and patina. Two shade panels are loose and temporarily stabilized from inside with removable plumber’s putty; they need proper securing. No cracked or broken glass panels noted. Please review all photos.
Antique Bradley & Hubbard 2 Socket Table Lamp with Bent Slag Glass Panel Shade
Antique Bradley & Hubbard 2 Socket Table Lamp with Bent Slag Glass Panel Shade. Measures about 21 1/4″ high as shown (would be slightly higher with finial), bottom base is 7 7/8″ wide across. Shade is 16 3/4″ wide and 7″ high. It weighs 16 pounds 4 ounces. The top of the base has the B&H markings. 1 glass panel is cracked but no glass pieces are missing, the top finial is missing, otherwise complete with a nice aged patina – see my 12 photos. Bradley & Hubbard is a name found on many metal objects. Walter Hubbard and his brother-in-law, Nathaniel Lyman Bradley, started making cast iron clocks, tables, frames, andirons, lamps, chandeliers, sconces, and sewing birds in 1854 in Meriden, Connecticut. Before it found large success with kerosene-burning lamps with glass shades in the 1870s, Bradley & Hubbard mainly produced clocks, along with call bells and sewing machines. The company became Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company in 1875. Charles Parker Company bought the firm in 1940.

CAME ACROSS THIS LAMP AT AN OLD CHESTER COUNTY. IT WAS IN THE BASEMENT COVERED. WITH A TORN UP BLANKET THAT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS THERE. FOR A VERY LONG TIME. (FRAME HAS SURFACE RUST). THERE WAS ALSO A BOX SITTING WITH IT THAT HAD BROKEN SLAG. PIECES, A SMOKE BELL, A SLAG HOLD CLIP THAT CAME OFF AND. A GLASS FONT AND BURNER. THE BURNER I THREW IN THE TRASH. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD. ON THE FLOOR WAS A BROKEN. WHEN I PICKED IT UP I NOTICED 10 OR SO 3′. STRINGS OF TINY GLASS BEADS HANGING OF THE BOTTOM. I WANTED TO KEEP THE ON THERE, BUT WHEN I TOUCHED THEM. THE LAST THREE PHOTOS SHOW THE WOOD. RODS ON EACH OF THE BOTTOM FOUR INSIDE SIDES THAT THE TASSELS HUNG. THERE WERE PROBABLY HUNDREDS OF STRINGS ON THE TASSELS. THE LAMP AT BOTTOM MEASURES AROUND 16′. THE SLAG HAD A THICK FILM ON IT. TELL WHAT THEY WERE. I CLEANED THEM SO YOUR ABLE TO. THE LAMP LOOKED LIKE IT WAS DROPPED. TOW OF THE LARGE PANELS BROKE INTO TWO PIECES. I DON’T KNOW IF THEY COULD BE GLUED. FIVE OF THE EIGHT SMALL PANELS SURVIVE. ONE IS IN HALF. I SAY IT WAS PROBABLY DROPPED BECAUSE. THE FRAME WAS BENT. I MOSTLY GOT IT BACK TO WHERE. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF A FEW SCREWS. IF YOUR NOT THERE TO RECEIVE IT. YOU WILL HAVE TO GHO TO YOUR P.
HUGE Handel Arts & Crafts Slag Stained Glass Reverse Painted Shade Lamp Base
Here’s a really huge Handel triple socket lamp base. This is a base that needs a good sized shade and if you have such a shade this base will add tremendous value to it. It has recently been refinished in a shiny dark brown color with metallic speckles. Comes complete with its original sockets, interiors, and acorn pull chains. Recently rewired with period style cloth braided cord. Its a large base standing 23″ tall with a bottom that measures 6 1/4″ in square. Widest middle part is about 7 1/2 in diameter. Close to 3 feet tall at 33. The neck ball has a nice glow under the blacklight the slag glass looks greenish – glows more yellow when turned on. Great detail and no broken pieces. The top comes off with 4 screws to change the bulb. Thank You for the interest!
