Dale Tiffany Stained Slag Glass Water Lily Pad Floral Art Nouveau Dents Cracks
This beautiful lamp is approximately 19 inches tall. The shade is about 14 inches in diameter, and 8 inches tall. There is a Dale Tiffany tag inside the shade. Very nice jewel beading. There is one dent on the top metal piece, a dented rim with corresponding cracked, chipped panels. 2 are shattered, one with a hole, and one has a fracture line. Reinforced with some Loctite to prevent further damage. Luckily the panels are all near each other, so they can go on the wall side. That’s an unbelievable savings. I have for sale this very nice super-sized Bradley and Hubbard era leaded slag glass table lamp. By supersized i mean supersized, as in 33 inches tall and 24 inches wide. This lamp will command any room in the house its in due to size and the fact its base is a spent artillery shell. When was the last time you saw one of those, let alone being utilized as a lamp base lol. The shade in very good original condition with all of its glass and all the leading for it tight and right throughout. A stray age line in a piece here or there but certainly nothing to be alarmed about and to be expected for a lamp this size and age. The glass quality excellent as the lamp lights up very colorful and vibrant as you can see. For the base no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. Again where would you find one and you know for certain your neighbors or friends certainly dont have this lamp by any stretch. Whoever thought that an artillery shell would make a good lamp base. Perfect for that man cave in the house right? Perhaps a Xmas present to the husband or boyfriend? Morgan Leaded Slag Glass Arts Crafts Antique Lamp Handel Bradley Hubbard Era
That’s an unbelievable savings!!! This is not a common lamp by any stretch folks and lights up very nicely. Handel was known to do small tulip shades in this manner but i dont believe Handel did full sized lamp like this. This is a lamp your neighbors will not have i promise you lol and its in very nice overall condition for its age. The lamp is a full sized lamp measuring in at 24 inches tall with the shade being 18 inches wide. Let’s start with the shade. No missing glass segments in the shade of course and no breaks in the glass. All the leading tight and right throughout and no loose glass segments. The lower interior panels being white, with the outer panels being green. Patina on the leading for the shade matching the base nicely. Some wear and or slight blemishes on the base but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance and as to be expected for a lamp 100+ years old. The base also in fine working order and there is no damage to report. No dents or dings or metalware loses. The base also retains what appears to be its original P and S turnkey sockets and its been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord. We also put in a inline switch as well for easy to reach of turning it off or on. This lamp will command any room its put in and lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table due to its arts and crafts design and form. All in all a super nice arts and crafts lamp by one of the more rarer so you cant beat that. I’m quite certain you will enjoy it and find it informative. I have for sale this very nice leaded slag glass lamp on a Rookwood pottery base. The glass is this lamp is off the charts as you can tell by the vibrancy in the photos. Its a pretty striking difference when on vs off. In person, this lamp is absolutely striking when lit, and will command whatever room its located in. This is a full sized lamp measuring in at 21 inches tall with the shade being 16.5 inches wide. The Rookwood pottery base with no breaks, cracks, or losses in the and in fine working order and in very nice condition. Its been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. They even sent me a picture theirs and it was signed and Roman numerically dated 1926 and the pattern is called poppy/wheat for obvious reasons. I thank this Rookwood collector for their expertise in helping my listing. The leaded shade again with excellent red and green and yellow glass segments with the glass condition being very very good on this shade with maybe a minor tight stress crack here or there but nothing detracting by any stretch of the imagination. Here’s a Beautiful Antique Stained Slag Bent Panel Glass Lamp. One piece of glass is broken but it can be glued and will be virtually unnoticed. One very minor piece of the overlay is broken (picture 2), and other sections have bends to the same relative area (picture 3). The base has wear to the finish but as displayed not much of it is that noticeable. It’s very dirty as it comes from an Estate. The cord has been cut so it. Height is approximately 24″ and diameter is 17 and 1/2″ or 18 and 3/4 depending on where you measure. I had this base years ago and I think it was B&H but I can’t remember for sure.
