Rare Suess Slag Glass Lamp Chicago Bronze Four Pull Chain Lights 32 Wow
Up for your perusal one amazing Suess slag glass lamp. This outstanding piece does light up and works a ok. We bought this for ourselves awhile ago and used it in our living room. It gives off decent light as there are four pull chain sockets. No cracks in the original shade. This lamp has stood the test of time. Last one I could find. And trust me we have been searching for years. Was on Fontaines as shown in the picture. Please note the capper on this is missing and there are no chains. We elected to leave her as she stands. She is gorgeous. She’s extremely heavy. She’s made of bronze. I’m curious as to what the odd holes are in the base? Are they purely ornamental or did they hold glass vials for silk flowers? I have been obsessed with this lamp for a good while. I could never find another like it nor could I find a manunfacturers name so I was so excited to finally find it on google. Vintage Currier & Ives Slag Glass Hanging Lamp New England Four Seasons
VINTAGE CURRIER & IVES SLAG GLASS HANGING LAMP NEW ENGLAND FOUR SEASONS. This lamp looks to be in very good condition with no chips or cracks and minor signs of use. The lamp has no hanging chain included and is untested as the cord needs to have a plug added or it needs to be hardwired. This is a beautiful hanging lamp! It has caramel colored slag glass panels that are hand-painted with Currier & Ives scenes. There 6 panels, 2 are “Autumn in New England, Cider Making”, 2 are “Winter in the Country, The Old Grist Mill”, 1 is “American Homestead Summer and 1 is “American Homestead Spring. They are beautiful scenes that look fabulous against the caramel colored slag glass and the fantastic metal work holding the panels together. Art Deco Brass Four Panel Slag Glass Table Lamp. One panel has a previous repair for a cracked panel. The repair is solid and sound. Power cord and lamp are in very good working condition. Pictures show the lamp with the light on and off. Approx Dimensions: 17 overall height. 8″ x 8″ shade, 5 shade height. B & H Sequoia Four Socket Lamp w Tiffany Style Wisteria Stained Glass-Slag Shade. This is the most sought after Bradley and Hubbard Lamp ever manufactured excluding the Dolphin Lamp. It is a Sequoia style because of its size and stamping. The lamp stands 27 tall to finial. The base is 9 with the lily pad design. It has four original Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls and mica inserts. It is signed on the top. It is signed on the base. Signed on the weight as well. The gorgeous blue and wisteria shade is 13″ tall and 18″ wide with a large bird shade holder. Obviously the shade is not an original Tiffany, unknown date nut in mint condition, no breaks chips or cracks. All in perfect working order. Nostalgic Lighting Policies READ. Up for consideration is a very unique antique hanging slag glass chandelier. This beauty features 8 full panels with caramel slag glass on top and blue and purple swirl slag glass at the bottom. Th lighting is connected by a twisted center pole and 4 candelabra lights. The top plumes with a uprising of metal golden leaves. Then there is the spectacular filigree that. It features two opposing women angels with dragons at the bottom of each side. The top portion of the slag glass filigree is made up of. The light is very large measuring approximately 19″ in diameter and 28″ tall. This light is a swag light that can be plugged into a wall socket but could easily be hard wired to the ceiling. It comes with approximately 14 feet of hanging chain and cord. There is a knob at the base of the candelabra cluster that turns the lights on. Please keep in mind that this is an antique so there are some imperfections. There are some missing filigree pieces towards the top of the chandelier and it looks like there has been some repairs to the metal work at the top, as in welds. These are small spot and not noticeable when the light is hanging. I do note a small crack at one of the dragons heads. The frame and structure is strong and secure.
