THIS IS AN ANTIQUE OUTSTANDING 12 PANEL LARGE 1910′S BENT SLAG GLASS TABLE LAMP. THE COLORFUL PANELS OF GLASS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE COLORS IN THE GLASS CREATE A COLORFUL BACKGROUND FOR THE OUTDOOR SCENE IN THE METAL OVERLAY. WHEN THE LAMP IS OFF THE COLORS IN THE PAINT STAND OUT, BUT WHEN THE LAMP IS ON THE METAL OVERLAY CREATES A SILHOUETTE AGAINST THE COLORFUL PINK AND BLUE SKY WITH THE GREEN LAWN. THE LAMP SHADE IS A 1910′S, 3 DIMENSIONAL WORK OF ART. THERE IS ONE GLASS PANEL PICTURED IN THE 11TH PHOTO THAT HAS MANY DEEP NATURAL LINES IN THE GLASS AND WE ARE UNSURE IF THERE ARE ANY HAIRLINE CRACKS. ALL OF THE OTHER PANELS ARE SMOOTHER AND IT IS EASY TO TELL THAT THERE ARE NO FLAWS IN THE GLASS. THE METAL SHADE FRAME IS IN THE ORIGINAL PAINT AND THERE IS SCATTERED CHIPPING AND A SEAM IN THE METAL HERE AND THERE. (THE SEAM IN THE TRUNK IN THE 6TH PHOTO IS THE MOST NOTICABLE ONE) THE FRAME IS STRONG! THE BASE IS ORIGINAL TO THE SHADE AND THERE IS SOME DIRT STUCK IN THE EMBOSSED DECORATION. THE SHADE SLIPS ONTO THE TOP OF THE BASE AND THEY FIT PERFECTLY TOGETHER. THE BASE IS VERY HEAVY AND IT KEEPS THE UMBRELLA SHADE FROM TIPPING. 1930s ART DECO TWO LIGHT TABLE LAMP With SLAG GLASS SHADE
1930s ART DECO TWO LIGHT TABLE LAMP W/ SLAG GLASS SHADE This 1930s Art Deco table lamp is made of cast iron (base), heavy cast metal (stem body, shade frame, shade cap & finial), & brass (tube & socket holders). It was made by Miller Co (ML Co in raised letters on bottom of base). The slag shade is a precursor to today’s silk/satin lamp shades. It has been restored in bronze & brass. The slag glass panels are cream with swirls of light caramel. They are original & are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This classic Art Deco slag glass lamp stands 24 tall & has a 16 wide shade. The cast iron lamp base is 7 1/2 in diameter. Original pull chain light sockets are rewired with gold cloth covered cord & a repro bakelite polarized plug. It weighs 15 lbs. Light bulbs not included. Antique (1915) Table Lamp with Carmel Slag Glass and Ornate Filagree Shade
Antique (1915) Table Lamp with Carmel Slag Glass and Ornate Filagree Shade. This is an electric lamp circa 1915 with a metal base with gilt finish. The base is 6-sided with raised rays. The column is grooved with raised floral decoration at mid-point. The harp raises from below bulb socket to a circle at the top which supports the shade, which weighs over 7 pounds. T he shade has 8 panels of caramel slag glass, each panel is 6.5 across the bottom and 2.5 at the top and 9 high. The frame is gilded metal and has a classical filigree design at the base, which includes an urn in each panel. It has no visible makers mark, (#388 under base). This description is from the appraisal, which is dated 1995. I personally cant see that number but I took pictures. A filigree cap and finial at the top of the shade is missing. I think its better off without it because of the heat generated. I t measures about 24 tall overall and the base is 7 and it weighs 13 lbs. T he replacement value may be much higher than it was in 1995, when I bought it. I t works fine. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. You want an arts and crafts lamp, well this exemplifies that time period. You want a lamp that looks like no other maker, well this is it. The base without any excuses and it has been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord. The shade without chips, breaks, or damage and lights up better than my photos can project. Very very minor paint losses here or there, but condition way better than expected for a 100 year old lamp. The shade also in very nice overall condition and with any breaks or damage in the filligree or the glass. The base measures 20 inches tall with the shade being 16 inches wide. Just simply an excellent period lamp from a great maker and very seldom seen. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. Bradley & Hubbard Iris Lamp. Being offered is an antique Arts and Crafts slag glass lamp with an organic iris with leaf overlay and a large base with a basket weave on the bottom flowing into leaves & flowers. This is a rare Bradley & Hubbard lamp, seldom seen with this base, very Grueby like in design. The finish is a deep green with golden flowers, in exceptional original condition. The lamp retains the original triple sockets and the cord has been replaced. It measures 22″ in height and the six panel shade is 18″ wide. The slag glass is beige & white and has a soft golden glow when lite. Condition is excellent, one panel has a very hard to see tight crack that has been repaired. When the lamp is off the crack is difficult to even find. Please view all pictures provided as they are the best description. The 1 7/8 banding has raised filigree surrounding the six-panel crown beautifully while each panel has floral banding dropping from top to base of each panel, completed by simple metal holding the rest of the panel safely together! My Kindle Fire has has serious difficulty taking representative lit pictures of this stunning shade! Picture #3, lit, appears to show a blue-only shade but that is not accurate…. Bright blues and greens streak from bottom to top of each panel as I admire it while writing this listing! The incredible lamp base has swirls of filigree on this gold-highlighted with dark undertones beauty! Four lovely feet support this lamp and appear to have swirls that match detail at the bottom of each shades’ panel. A new S-socket and new electrical cord have been installed! Shade has 20 inches in diameter, on upper level two small heat line cracks, on lower level 3 small heat line cracks ; has very strong structure, no loose glass panels. Whole lamp was made in strong design of Arts & Crafts Era. Antique early 1990′s bent slag glass lamp shade. Maybe Miller, but no hallmark on shade. Carmel color glass with a painted copper and green finish on the ornate metal frame. Shade will fit on a base with an aperture ring with a heat cap. Dimensions are 8″ tall overall, 3 1/4″ across the top opening and 19 at the widest part. In excellent antique used condition. No chips, cracks or repairs seen on the glass. No breaks to the frame. Glass clips are there except for one pair. Please see all photos as they are part of the description also.
