For Sale I have a Beautiful ART NOVEAU 16 Panel Green Bent SLAG GLASS LAMP Excellent Condition. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bent glass shade better than this one. This shade is museum quality, but I couldn’t find a manufactures name on the shade or lamp. Also there were 2 panels that were replacement panels that didn’t match the rest of this lamp shade. I had 5 new panels bent to match. According to the person I had bent the glass, it was a real problem. He said when he heated up the glass it would change colors and making the side panels were a real bear. He made me some extra planels that I’m including with this sale (see photos). I took this lamp and shade to a person I’ve known for years and together we came up with the mount you can see in one of my photos. This heat cap is not original but the shade is now solid on the lamp. The lamp and finial measures 32 1/2″ tall and the base is 6 1/2″ across. PLEASE NOTE: The filigree is in excellent except for one small area. I took a photo of this with an arrow pointing to the problem. This lamp has 2 different fat boy light sockets, one is a Arrow Socket and Ilm not sure what the other socket is. Thank you for looking. The free listing tool. It has great glass folks and is in excellent overall original condition. It measures 25 inches wide and is 12 inches tall. There is no missing segments of glass and the leading is all tight and right through your. This is a very heavy hanging shade and extremely well built. No broken areas of glass and just a stray heat crack here or there, 2-3, and as to be expected for a shade this size and age. Maker unknown but the quality very very high. Thanks for looking and please see my other lighting sales as well. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price. I will be offering my lamps as reasonable as possible so as to 1. Not cause sticker shock like so many other sellers, 2. To sell them and not let my inventory sit around for years on end. Thanks for checking this great lamp out and please check out my other great lighting options as well. Recently I have been putting different lighting on with reserves and no reserves. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. There are a few things in life we cant do without. Food, water, fire, oxygen, the sun, shelter etc. So when it comes to shelter and necessary light for it, thats where I come in. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality. Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that. So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours. You display it and care for it. So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function. When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark. And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc. And I want to see those items lit by great lighting. Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it. I have for sale this super bradley and hubbard overlay lamp. This is a monster sized lamp folks and very heavy and very well made. This supersized lamp measures 33 inches tall with the shade being 24 inches wide. Please notice the photo of an average full sized table lamp in comparison to this one. Table lamps dont really come any bigger than that folks lol. The base in solid brass throughout and having a four socket cluster all with original hubbell sockets and sattelite pulls. The base in fine working order and recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord. No damage at all to the base as far as the metalware and no dents or dings to be seen. The patina worn as to be expected for a 100+ year old brass lamp base but if the new owner wants to polish it then so be it. The shade also in equally nice condition with very solid and thick overlay throughout in a very complicated pattern. I see no losses to any filligree whatsoever. The glass in the upper panels way more yellow than caramel, like i think the photos are conveying. The border glass in a very very vibrant red when lit and kind of orangish when unlit. The glass without breaks, chips, or cracks anywhere to been. Also i see no signs of repair anywhere on the base or shade. I have struggled with doing this as I didn? This is a beautiful well proportioned Bent Slag Glass Lamp, probably by Miller Lamp Co. I have the same base column on another signed Miller lamp, but this lamp is unmarked. It stands 23 inches tall to the top of the finial. The base is 8 inches in diameter with its original colors, brilliant as it came from the factory. Check out the photos. The entire lamp has a wonderful original patinated finish to it with almost all of the original colorful highlights to it and is in excellent condition. The 6 panel bent slag glass shade is all complete with no cracks or missing pieces and in beautiful condition. The shade is 14 1/2 – 16 3/4 inches in diameter, depending on measuring flats or corners and is 7 1/2 inches tall. All the overlay is present with its original colors. The column has a chiseled vase like pattern to it with a terrific patina and almost all the original colorful finish. About mint in condition. The lamp has been correctly rewired with and works perfectly. Just a beautiful lamp for your home. Rare Handel 4 socket with Poulsen (P & H) Slag Glass Lamp, both signed. I have dealt with many Handel Lamps over the years and I’ve had a lot of 2 socket and 3 socket pieces in my collection. I have not seen a 4 socket in many a year. To say that they are hard to get is extremely scarce. One chain is slightly longer than the other three? The lamp is rewired and all 4 sockets light up perfect. The lamp stands 23″ tall and with a 7 1/2″ base. Topped off on this base is a magnificent 19, 16 panel signed Loius Poulsen shade. Poulsen born in 1874 was one of the leading designers of shades for his time. A function and design of his products are tailored to reflect and support the rhythm of natural light. Every detail of his design has a purpose, every design starts and ends with light. He was truly one of the most passionate craftsman of the period. I’ve described this as best I can due to the early age there may be minor signs of wear in the many years it has been through. MAGNIFICENT to behold when lit. Renew the Past Policies. If you are not satisfied for ANY reason please contact me before leaving feedback. If I have missed anything let me know and we will resolve it. You are getting them as I bought them. Please look at all of the pictures closely and ask any questions you may have. Most pieces are picked at estate sales, garage sales, etc. The majority of things I sell are vintage, so a little minor wear can be expected from time to time. I will disclose everything to the best of my knowledge! If you ave any questions about any of my collections do not hesitate to call. Every maker has certain attributes that identify them regardless if they are signed or not. Just like a painting that’s not signed but art dealers/experts know who it is anyways. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it.
