This is a nice, antique, metal-framed eight-panel bent slag glass lamp shade (see photos). The lamp shade is made with a metal frame retaining most of the original painted finish and eight bent glass panels in a brown and white multicolored caramel color. The lamp shade includes the original center cap (see photos). The shade is not marked by the maker. I do not know the maker of this item. The shade is antique, dating to 90 +/- years old. The shade has a simple, elegant design in a transitional Art Nouveau/Deco original period style. The shade portion (without the center medallion in place) measures about 7.5 inches high, and it measures about 20 inches wide from side to side between the widest points. The item is from an estate liquidation. The glass panels are in good condition without cracks or repairs. The shade has some paint finish losses to the metal frame and some minimal wear (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item).
