An antique Arts & Crafts brass and slag glass desk lamp, likely produced around 1910 by the Salo Metal Arts Company. It features a distinctive Greek key pattern along the lower edge of the shade. Arts & Crafts / Mission style. The base and frame are brass, while the shade is made of caramel/amber-toned variegated or “slag” glass panels. The shade has a geometric design with riveted brass panels and an articulated, curved neck, often described as a “banker’s lamp” style due to its functional shape for directing light. This is an awesome fresh estate find! It is an original vintage/antique uranium slag glass table lamp with brass cherub accents and a brass finial. Has 3 slag glass uranium pieces that glow under black light. 2 lights with chain pulls in working order. I dont know if the wiring is original or replaced. Measures 28 to top of finial. The long center piece has 1 area that looks like the corner is shaved? Although it’s smoother rather than rough so Im not sure if this was from the factory or not. Up for grabs is an amazing 1920′s table lamp with green slag glass. This 8 panel shade and base are in great condition. There are 2 spots where there are either a crack or a scratch. It is so fine, that I can’t even tell if it’s a crack or merely a scratch. Lamp lights up perfectly and really gives a room a cozy look! Shade is 14 inches across. Lamp stands approximately 25 inches high. My great grandmother was the original owner of this lamp and the lamp base is the original one that came with the shade. Thanks a lot for looking. Description: Beautiful Art Nouveau Slag Lamp is done in shades of peach, pink and green. Filigree is complete, no repairs or missing pieces. There are 2 small breaks (see photos). Brass base features original patina, has not been refinished, cleaned or restored. 1 light fixture has been replaced. No missing pieces in the slag panels but there are 2 cracks (see photos). There are 4 holes drilled in the base of the shade, I assume for attaching a chain to hang. Stamped Miller 1136 on the bottom. Lamp stands 23 1/2″ tall and shade is 17″ across. It is working, bulbs are not included. Cord should be replaced as it’s original and probably not up to modern code. Important: Please note the dimensions listed as size cannot be determined based on pictures alone.
