Vintage Miller 6 Slag Glass Lamp Beautiful Green Glass
A very unique and hard to find original green Miller slag glass antique lamp. This is a large and heavy lamp standing 21 inches tall on a 8.5 inch sculpted base. The base and the vase like column are all wonderfully cast and a magnet sticks so it is not pot metal. Original patinated gold/bronze finish. The 6 panel bent slag glass shade is 16 inches in diameter and stands 7 1/2 inches tall. It is complete and all the sculpted fan webbing overlay is complete with a wonderful antique gold/bronze patina with hints of other colors. The bent Slag Glass panels are complete. The shade rests on the sculpted top of the base and then has a patinated copper cap that the finial secures over the top of the shade to hold it on. The lamp works perfectly and is in excellent condition. I will have it professional package so that it arrives to you in excellent condition. All original antique large diameter curved slag glass lamp with heavy Victorian detailing. The bottom of the base was covered with felt and we tried to expose the H&B marking but during the years there was minor rust build up around the stamp and we decided just to show the picture on the interior underside of the marking (See picture 8 & 9). There is no damage to any of the slag pieces and the two pull chains work with ease and do not get stuck. The electrical cord is the old cloth covered kind and does not have any fraying. Bradley & Hubbard Slag Stained Glass Overlay Handel Duffner Tiffany Era Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a great example of one of Bradley & Hubbard’s slag glass lamps. It has a wonderful heavy leaf filigree pattern and is done with really great yellow/caramel/white glass. This is an early lamp that may have even been gas at one time. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here as they can do a better job of describing this lamp than I can, but will say that this lamp is in excellent overall condition with no replaced glass and no missing filigree. This is a full sized table lamp with a 16″ diameter shade that stands 21″ tall. The base is solid cast brass with its original aged finish. This finish matches that on the shade and I believe both have been together from the beginning. It has been recently rewired and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times.
