Here is a very beautiful original electric slag glass panel lamp. Unusual enameled design around the edge of the shade and base. Perfect for an office, entry way, etc. It makes quite a statement. There are 8 panels of smooth amber glass. They are held in place by all of the tabs. There is no damage to the glass. The diameter of the shade is 17. The height as shown is 24. This includes the great finial!! The base has the original finish as does the rest of the lamp. There are 2 pull chain Bryant sockets. There are some repaired stress cracks at the top where the shade sits. The wiring has been recently redone with a rayon cord. The diameter of the base is 7 1/2 so it will fit on any table. 1900s Cast Iron Mottled Green Slag Glass Lamp Electric Light Modified
If you’re a Mission period enthusiast or looking for that Arts and Crafts piece that finishes the room off with an interesting vibe, this is your lamp. Likely designed and crafted by Bradley & Hubbard in the early 1900′s, this Mission style lamp is made of heavy cast iron and beautiful mottled green slag glass. Inscribed with “Success” text on the knob. A few imperfections are present but not extensive. A crack on one side of the lamp shade, and a couple on another. The craftsmanship of this piece is incredibly sturdy and very heavy as with most pieces of Mission styled furniture and lamps. This lamp would be stunning in a richly done Mission, Arts and Crafts or even Rustic Cabin styled environment. As a side table lamp or between two weathered leather club chairs, this piece is very versatile and incredibly unique. Dimensions: 11″ x 11″x 19.5″h From the table surface to the bottom of the shade: 12.5″. This has been well retrofited with an electric light and 6 foot cord.

This vintage light is in excellent condition. It looks like it was laid in the 60s or 70s. The slight glass has a creamy white beige with caramel colored accents. The smaller glass panels are an orange amber. Intricate Victorian design on the metal. Flower and lily pad base. The lamp is about 27 inches tall with shade about 18 inches in diameter. There is one very fine Caroline crack that is about 4 inches in length at the top of one of the slag glass panels. It does not track from the beauty of the lamp. Stunning in the evening.

The bottom green glass pieces would need attaching to the cast iron it seems. I just shoved plastic bags in the bottom to keep them in place. I see similar lamps that were oil lamps so I’m thinking someone must’ve converted it to electric. Wonderful addition to a collection.

Antique table lamp base Empire Electric Chicago. Complete, intact example, very nice condition. All surface clean inside and out, new modern replacement wiring throughout, period correct plug end with new insulator disc. 2 pull P & S pull chain sockets, black insulators very good condition, long pull chains with brass bead pulls. Tested safe and ready for use. Height at the top of the cluster cap is 22. No damage, subtle age related wear. Lustrous appearance, hand rubbed. I stand behind my work 100%.
