Up for consideration is this Mission Style Table Lamp featuring Antique Hexagon Caramel Slag Glass Shade and Vintage Base. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. This is another lamp we have married. The Shade was originally part of a double lamp pool table lamp, that we found in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. Up for consideration is this Rare One of a Kind Awesome Vintage Bridge Arm Table Desk Lamp featuring Antique BentCurved Cream or Beige Slag Glass Shade. It has socket based on/off switch. Generally speaking, slag glass lamps predate Tiffany’s style of lamps. Which was using broken pieces of slag glass, cut or grinding them joining them geometrically as needed to make lamp shades. They were joined together using a foil welding method developed by Tiffany. It is in very good to excellent vintage antique estate condition. We converted the from floor lamp to table lamp. This is another lamp we have married the base and shade. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). It is adjustable (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass. Best Art Nouveau Ornate Brass Table Lamp Marble Slag Glass Shade. Measures approximately 23″ tall total with an approximately 7 1/2″ diameter base. Shade measures approximately 17 1/2″ diameter x 7″ tall and features 5 slag glass panels. Each panel measures approx. 9 1/2″ tall x 10″ wide tapered down to 2 1/2 wide. This is vintage and pre-owned; Estate found. Tested and works beautifully. Great cosmetic condition considering the age of the piece. There is some weathering/oxidation as well as a split in one of the panels that has been repaired by the previous owner (pictured above). Antique Bradley & Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp Nouveau Arts & Crafts Handel Era B&H
Fantastic antique Bradley & Hubbard lamp. Lovely bronze base is signed near sockets. Two socket pull chain function. Handsome slag glass eight panel shade in just about perfect condition. No cracks or chips. Looks like a vintage re-wire (70s’maybe) so it’s safe and ready to use. The bronze base is weighted inside with a heavy cast iron disc to prevent tipping. The shade has a kind of art nouveau organic flow mixed with an arts an craft appeal. This came out of a Boston area artists estate with 4-5 proper Handel era slag glass and stained glass lamps. All very nice condition. The estate had sat empty for decades chock full of very good quality antiques and finally there was an estate sale. I grabbed two of the lamps. If I had room I would have taken them all. Each as good or better than the next. The other I got was leaded stained glass and I may list it at some point if you want to keep an eye on my listings. This one really I can’t say has anything wrong worth noting except a tiny verdigris spot on base and slightly bent prongs on plug. A very nice piece for any home. The slag is a butterscotchy caramel complexion. The reticulated metal overlay is beautiful with lamp on or off. One of the bulbs in the lamp in the photos is orange. The former owner had it in. I guess he liked the way the orange lit the shade up. Maybe that’s all he had laying around, who knows. That explains the extra orange glow though. This is a very heavy lamp weighing in at nearly 14lbs total. Most of that in the base obviously. Total height with finial is about 20. For international buyers we will need to discuss that matter. Splendid Blue Tyfanny Style Antq Pair /Lamps w Bended Slag Glass Pannels & Brass
Magnificent blue Tyfanny style, antique pair of lamps with six bended slag glass pannels and brass square base. Stained slag glass lamp shade. Brass base with bronze finish. Double pull chain switch with fringe. Each of the six pannels of glass is hand-soldered into place using the traditional copper foil technique with splendid filigree foral pattern acessoires and very elegant curve lines, (trimmed with a fine mini spiral wire). The flowing colour is blue basically, with hypnotic hues of green and yellow, creating a movement effect, not to mention the decorating calming and soothing effect. Due to the different monitor and light effect, the actual color of the items might be slightly different from the color showed on the pictures. The base rests on a square block and is mainly a bulbous central pillar with stylised acanthus leaves pattern and fluted upper segment, finished by the lighting part made of the two sockets for the two bulbs with the two fringes for the double pull down chains.
