A large incredible antique all original very rare J. Whaley mission arts & crafts solid bronze leaded slag glass table lamp in excellent condition. This is one of the most beautiful lamps on e-bay. This lamp is truly a very finely hand crafted work of art from a master craftsman. You rarely see this amount of detail in any lamp. You very rarely can find a all original lamp like this in this condition anymore. The original very rich green bronze patina is in excellent untouched condition with no damage to it anywhere. They used the some of the most beautiful slag you will ever see anywhere it is full of color and fire the photo’s truly don’t do it any justice at all. There are what appear to be three cracks in the very beautiful slag glass panels shown in the two last photos. They must be very tight cracks because you can’t feel them with your finger nail at all and you can’t see them at all unless the lamp is turned on that will go unnoticed. I’ve never seen anything like it before. They are close together and can be turned to the rear. The original bronze patina on the leaded is in excellent condition. The shade is in very sound and tight condition with no loose pieces of glass. The whole base and parts are constructed from solid bronze and it has a cast iron weight in the bottom of it making it very heavy and stable. This lamp seems to be mostly of brass construction. The shade has four jewels along with slag glass. There is swivel on the base so the angle of the shade can be adjusted. Absolutely stunning handmade table lamp with ornate filigree detail throughout the metal work and gradient beige amber/caramel random veins color slag glass. Very nice lighting effect. The bronze central pillar (does not look like spelter) is a sweet cherub with both hands folded behind his head and looking at the nice openwork base with leaf pattern and detailed elements, in harmony with the shade motif. Gorgeous pair of vintage 4 panel green slag glass pendants. They have slight wear to the metal, but they have no cracks or damage to the glass. They work fine as photos show and the wiring seems good, but I would still recommend having someone qualified to check them out, plus they could use a light cleaning. RARE ANTIQUE OLD LEADED SLAG STAINED GLASS HANDEL TIFFANY STYLE LAMP c. 1905
For your consideration is this absolutely large leaded floral lamp made by Handel. This company made very few leaded lamps and those that it did make are of super high quality and highly desirable. This one is absolutely beautiful…. The lamp is constructed with great glass that really fires up when lit. The huge 18.5 diameter shade consists of granite backed and regular glass arranged with a white floral pattern apron against a two-toned green petal background. Adding to the quality of the shade is the use of bent glass pieces which were much more difficult to do and required more time. The shade rests on a wonderful 2-socket “gooseneck” base with embossed base. This is one of Handel’s finest bases, is solid bronze (and not copper plated pot metal which most were), and has a prominent HANDEL tag leaded into the underside. The base stands an impressive 25 tall. Although unsigned, I have copied a page out of Paul Crist’s Mosaic Shades II book that shows a nearly identical shade with yellow flowers and the same dual colored green leaf background. The condition of the lamp is good. With minor cracks in the glass (to be expected on a shade as large as this), no repairs, and all original finish. The lamp has been wired with period style cord and an old period plug, and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you have been looking for a great example of Handel’s work, this is the one for you. They don’t get much better than this in terms of color , so don’t let this one pass you by. You can return it up to 30 days.. So have a piece of mind when shopping greekflyboy1964! A RARE & STUNNING ANTIQUE MISSION ARTS CRAFTS RIVIERE STUDIOS BRONZE SLAG GREEN & WHITE GLASS LAMP FROM THE TIFFANY ERA. IT LIGHTS ON THE TOP AND THE BOTTOM. THIS IS NOT THE SHADE YOU USUALLY SEE WITH THIS BASE BUT ITS HOW I FOUND IT IN THE ESTATE AND IT LOOKS GREAT. COULD BE A MARRIAGE OR A CUSTOM PIECE I DONT KNOW? Condition is amazing for its age. It has two very small issues. Lamp was rewired at some point and whoever did it cut a piece of sheet metal from underneath the base to have more room to do the wiring. It doesnt show (unless you turn the lamp upside down) or effect the stability. One of the panels has lost its metal glass support tabs and the glass is sitting in the groove but taped on the sides so it should probably be secured better. No chips or cracks in the glass. Lamp works but I wont guarantee the wiring. Looks good but youre responsible for checking it yourself. Shade is 14.5 across by 9.5 tall. Rare Antique Art Nouveau Piano Lamp with Green Slag Glass

Up for consideration is this Rare Antique Art Nouveau Piano Lamp with Green Slag Glass Shade. It has a socket based on/off switch. It is in very good to excellent antique condition. The lamp originally had reverse painted slag glass but the paint was faded and chipping. One side is slightly taller/higher than the other (see photos). There are areas of age related chipping and fading of the paint (see photos). There are areas of patina or tarnishing of the metal (see photos). There are no broken or cracked slag glass. It measures approximately 9 inches by 5.75 for shade, 10.25 wide at ball fasteners, 6 inches in diameter for base and 13 inches tall. This also applies to non lower 48, USA locations.
