An Arts & Crafts Pink Slag Glass Brass Lamp, United States, c. This Lamp makes for the perfect contrast piece while staged in an array of interior styles. The shade includes 4 pink slag glass panels, each are recessed into the shade – It looks exceptional while illuminated. The brass stem of the lamp is nicely styled with a button motif. The underside of the Lamp is unsigned or marked. Condition: This Lamp was rewired with a modernized plug for longevity, it’s fully tested and works as it should. Repairs are shown to the frame of the shade, there aren’t any cracks or repairs in the glass although some of the panels show movement (but do not fall out). The shade was lacquered in gold over the brass plating, the stem and base are solid brass. Dimensions: 14″ wide x 20″ tall x 14 deep. Vintage Stained Slag Glass Brass Swag Lamp Large Chimney Lighting 48 Panels
Vintage Stained Slag Glass Brass Swag Lamp Large Chimney Lighting 48 Panels! . This piece is gorgeous! It could definitely use a light cleaning but nothing major. The body of this piece and in between the glass panels are brass. The slag shade is large measuring 16 in in diameter by approximately 9 in tall and the top opening is 6.25 in in diameter. The shade sits perfectly on the two tabs of the base. The chain can be adjusted to longer or shorter. Currently it measures 25 inches long, comes with wiring for installation, the wiring looks to be vintage so I’m not quite sure if you’ll want to leave it or change it out. Out it’s completely up to you. This is a two-way switch so the top light lights up and then there is a light at the bottom of the base so you can have both on. You can also have light coming out of the bottom. If you put it over a table like a kitchen table. Someone put tape around the base of the chimney so that it’s holds firmly inside. Otherwise these can get kind of wobbly, the chimney is rather large measuring 12 in tall and and it’s midsection approximately 6 inches in diameter. Shade on you can’t even see it. This is a very ornate piece that at one time must have been in oil light converted now to electric. This must be hard wired in. The slag panels which there are 48 of are a mixture of solid white and clear with white swirls. Very very pretty, no cracks or chips on the panels. I have inspected them all. For Sale is a. Beautiful antique vintage slag glass table lamp. There are many panels of brown and tan slag glass. The top and bottom light up, either together or separately. Rare Aerolux Light Bulb & Akro Slag Glass Base 3 Flowers Pink Green WORKS Vtg
This listing is for a Rare Aerolux Light Bulb & its original extremely hard to find Akro Agate Slag Glass Lamp Base. The design features pink 3 Flowers surrounded by green leaves. The fully working two color design is fantastic for display during the day or night, but when the sun goes down is when it really pops! The best way to describe these bulbs is they glow like a lightsaber- photos just don’t so justice. My thought was always to get a sputnik style lamp and put 20 or 30 of these on at once! The Akro Agate made lamp base has a gentle art deco / art nouveau look. It is a charmingly small size as well. It is white opaline glass with a wonderful orange slag swirl. It has the lovely “ring of fire” effect when light is behind its thinner parts- that is it glows a nice orangy color. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. Both the base & bulb were likely made in the 1930s-50s respectively. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! It is a great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. It is in good condition, with major damage to the bulb or base. The base is in mint condition, with no cracks chips or major mould flaws. It has a nice (likely original) cord and fully works as a lamp base, with a good socket.
