Antique 1900s E. Miller Lamp Co. Art Nouveau Stained Slag Glass Table Lamp Light
For sale here is a wonderful antique 1900′s signed E. (Edward Miller Company), Art Nouveau caramel slag glass table lamp in very good rewired condition. This lamp has 5 large matching panels but on has a hairline glued crack. This panel could easily be replaced by many companies that reproduce slag glass panes. This is a large lamp measuring 21″ tall x 16″ in diameter. Weighs about 25-30 lbs. This is a matching top and bottom table lamp with a good readable mark on the bottom. Wonderful antique lamp tassels and old ceramic sockets in fine working order. I have rewired this lamp with high quality bronze cloth covered wire and reused the Bakelite plug. It is beautiful when lit up or unlit. The slag glass lights up in many swirling colors of glass. I see no breaks or repairs to the spelter top or bottom. Other than the hairline crack, there is just some finish flaking to speak of. It is still very strongly painted in its original copper/bronze finish. Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Miller 7 Panel Slag Glass Lamp
Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp. Being offered is a beautiful Art Nouveau style seven panel caramel colored slag glass lamp with a very nice over-lay. Lamp retains it’s original verdigris patina along with original heat cap & finial. Glass is slightly curved in on the bottom of the panels and has a wonderful glow with lite. Shade is 15 1/2″ wide and the lamp stands 24″ in height. Very well made lamp with a new vintage style cord and plug and is ready for use in your home. Lamp is not marked but I believe it is a Miller based on the construction. Condition is excellent with no damage to the glass panels or any of the metal over-lay. Description: Up for sale is this very attractive table lamp. Made in the style of the Arts & Crafts movement it has a very nice clean design. Base, caramel shade and cap give a soft brown overtone with the red diamond inserts catching your eye. Unfortunately there is no signature but the socket is a Bryant with a patent date of 1907. Shade is well made with clean lead lines that have a very nice bronze patina. The caramel slag glass is smooth finish with the red diamonds and the surrounding geometic pieces being textured. They used paper labels to identify their lamps but this was probably lost years ago. Their signature style was the trumpet like lamp base, caramel slag glass with red highlights. Stands 21″ to the top of the final with the shade at 14.5″ in diameter. Good working condition ready for service. Lamp base has some “age spots” and verdigris. There is no glass missing or damage. Really a very nice clean lamp ready for service. Antique PH Poul Henningsen Heavy Cast Bronze Paneled Blue Slag Glass GWTW Lamp
The lamp is in good antique condition and show its age. Metal appears to be cast bronze and does not attract a magnet. All of the glass is intact and I did not see any cracks or chips. The metal parts show bending, cracking, marring, oxidation, patina, denting, age distress etc. Lamp looks to have been rewired with new socket and harp put on in the 1960′s. The turn switch does not work properly I had to fiddle with it to get both bulbs to come on. Takes a standard and candelabra style bulb. Approximately 23 inches tall to top of finial, and weighs around 12 pounds. Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp Chicago Empire Co Miller, Bradley & Hubbard Styles
This is a good looking and heavy Variegated Carmel Bent Slag Glass lamp by Chicago Empire Co. The lamp stands 23 1/2 inches tall to the top of the finial, on its neatly sculpted 7 1/2 inch base. The lamp weighs over 17 pounds. The Beautiful Carmel Bent Slag glass shade is all complete with no cracks or chips and the metal overlay is called “Morning Glory on Trellis”. The shade is 16 1/2 or 18 inches in diameter, depending on where measured and is 7 inches tall. The aperture on the shade is about 3 3/8 inches wide. The finish on the lamp is almost all there with a few age chips here and there. The sculpted metal base and vase shaped column have a great dark patinated brown finish to it. I find no markings on the lamp however, it is pictured in their old lamp catalogs. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Just a really beautiful lamp for your home or desk.
