Antique Slag Glass Caramel Table Lamp
This antique lamp has 6 caramel panels of slag glass in the shade which all appear to be original to the lamp. The base and shade appear to be untouched finish wise but the base has been rewired with cloth covered cord. It lights up with two pull chain sockets that work well. The lamp is unsigned but looks similar to some designs the Miller company used. The shade is 16 inches wide, the base is 8 inches wide and the whole lamp is 23 inches tall.

Condition : The shade is in excellent condition with no signs of damage or repair. The lamp base was probably painted at some point. I don’t think it was originally white. The paint does show some surface wear. Please see photos for details. Age : Circa early 20th c. Markings : The lamp base is signed, but I don’t know who made it. Country of Origin : Made in the USA. Measurements : The shade is roughly 8¼” x 8¼” x 5¼ tall. The lamp is about 5¼” x 5¼” x 14 tall. Offers are always welcome.

Antique Art Nouveau Caramel Slag Glass Boudoir Table Lamp, It has an Ornate Painted Corinthian Column Cast Metal Base with Fancy Embossed Art Nouveau Designs in High Relief. It works and has been rewired, but I don’t know how. The Shade Has a Painted Cast Metal Frame with. 4 Caramel Colored Slag Glass Panels with. Decorative Floral Flower Drape Overlays. The Shade Itself Measures approximately 7″ x 7″ at its’ widest part. The Lamp Measures approx. 15.5 Tall from the base to the Top of the Finial. The lamp was likely manufactured in the 1920′s-1930′s and is in good condition for its’ age. Some of the paint has worn off of its metal base. Please inspect the photos carefully for condition.

This Antique Rainaud A & R Co. Caramel Slag Glass Table Lamp with Original Wiring is a vintage piece from the 1920s, featuring a classic Art Nouveau style with a pull chain control and a round 8 panel Carmel Slag Glass shade. I did some research on this lamp and believe it to be a Rainaud. The only marking that I can see is on the bottom of the base and it says A & R Co (see pictures). The shade measures 17 inches across and it is 22.5 inches in height. There are 8 glass panels. From what I can tell the lamp is in very good shape for its age. All glass intact, no chips or cracks noted. All the clips on the back of the glass seem to be intact. The wiring is original and does show wear (again please see pictures), but with bulbs inserted both sockets light as they should.

Old finish in very fine condition with some dings and scratches for antique character. Two standard E26 sockets. Size is 19″across, and 23.5″ tall. Please view all photos for best detail. The early slag glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The metal base is in excellent shape with its original patina. It is a very heavy lamp and does not tip, 13 lbs. Will be packaged very carefully with some recycled materials.

There is some oxidation to the base (as shown). It weighs 14 Pounds. The shade is free of chips, cracks, or damage to the glass or the metal frame.
