ART DECO THICK SLAG GLASS LALIQUE STYLE SAUCER LIGHT HANGING CEILING LAMP 1930′S. DESIGN: A dramatic and impressive Art Deco Modern Lalique Style Slag molded Saucer shaped form hanging ceiling lamp designed and manufactured circa 1930′s. The thick, hefty glass saucer 5 lbs. Shade is designed in the same manner as the deep dimensional patterned frosted glass designs found in similar Lalique glass lighting examples from the same era. The thick liquid-like outer texture hanging glass disk has a pebble-like inner frosted texture with a faint sparkly gold tint overall with a slightly darker outer ring halo, this is a unique use of the new art glass technique details found only in the highest end lighting fixtures of the period. CONDITION : This impressive hanging lamps is in exceptional lightly used overall original condition completely intact, fully functional and ready for any hardwired installation. No real signs of any long term usage, wear or blemishes to the glass or hardware aside from some small edge dings and tarnish spots to the Brass plated ceiling canopy. The sockets and wiring are original and all have been inspected & tested to be clean, safe and functional. The hardwiring bracket is intact behind the ceiling canopy for easy installation in most applications. DIMENSIONS: The lamps general shade dimensions are 14.5″ diameter width X about 3″ deep weighing a hefty 6 lbs, the overall complete hanging length is around 12 long.

A vintage hanging lamp with slag glass inserts. Not sure of the metal. This is quite heavy overall. Slag glass inserts are a light amber or caramel swirl. Bottom panel is clear. In overall fair to good condition with some wear and finish loss, at least one of the tabs that hold the glass are broken. No apparent damage to the body or glass. Will likely need rewired, not sure. Main body measures about 6″ tall and 9-1/2″ at the widest. At the time of listing we c urrently have other matching fixtures. Expect minor evidence of use or imperfections, dings etc. We take many photos of our items to assist with the description. Please use the photos to help judge content and condition. Antique Vintage Old Brass Stained Slag Glass Hanging Ceiling Light Lamp Fixture
21 Round Antique Solid Brass Hanging Light w/Slag Glass Panels. What a rare find! Gorgeous, heavy, ceiling light fixture salvaged from Northeastern PA. It has a solid brass frame with 16, curved, white-yellow-orange, slag glass panels. The brass frame is beautifully embellished with a variety of Neo Classical details. Inside the frame, there is a glass dish/bowl which helps to amplify the light from the bulb. The gentleman that we bought it from got it from a local church years ago. He got it in 2 pieces: the main, round section with glass panels and the portion that holds the lightbulb. He had a fabricator attach 4 steel strips/bars to connect the 2 parts. These strips/bars are clearly shown in the last 3 photos. The light does work but we don’t have any photos showing the light on. We will add photos with it lit ASAP. The bulb shown in the photo is not the correct bulb to be used with this light. It’s just what the guy we bought it from had to show us that it works. However, he said that it needs a longer/taller bulb in order to completely light up all 16 glass panels. The light’s beauty and craftsmanship are only equaled by it’s superb condition. All of the glass is intact and the brass has no breaks, cracks, deep scratches, or gouges. It’s ready for another lifetime of service! Diameter : (frame) 21″ (interior glass bowl) 12″. The 8 square, slag glass panels along the sides are approximately 7″x7″. We will either personally deliver to a Northeastern state (From Northeastern VA to New England) or box and hire someone to hand deliver it to you.

IT WOULD HAVE HAD A CIRCULAR PIECE OF SLAG GLASS AT THE BOTTOM ORIGINALLY WHICH LUCKILY IS EASIER TO REPLACE THAN THE CURVED PIECES ON THE SIDE. DOES HAVE SOME DUST THAT CAN BE CLEANED UP. All the glass looking there and looking allmost complete in good standing condition. Wire will need to be redo before re-using it. Shade assembly with topper ring.
