Does work all ways. Needs cleaned and polished. Comes with minor scuffs, scratches and surface wear. There is one very minor small crack in the base. Please see pictures and you be the judge on details and conditions.
Lot of 2 Uranium Slag Glass Base Table Lamps Art Deco Antique Houze Akro Agate
Paper covered body has paper loss. Lamps work, but should probably be rewired. No shades are included. Only part that is glass is the base. The product is a set of two vintage Uranium Slag Glass Base Table Lamps in the Art Deco style. These antique lamps feature a green light color and a shaded design, with a corded electric power source and knob control style. Made of glass with a beige cord, these lamps stand at 10.5 inches tall and 4 inches wide, making them a unique addition to any vintage decor.

ART DECO STREAMLINE CHROME AKRO AGATE SWIRL URANIUM GLASS TABLE LAMP 1930s. DESIGN: A striking and stylish Art Deco Streamline Chrome and Agate table lamp circa 1930′s. Built heavy duty and comprised of highly polished Chrome steel accented with molded geometric shaped sections of Akro Agate swirl glass (the same material & process used to make antique marbles). The contemporary replacement shade casts an ideal glow upon the translucent glass sections while complimenting the lamps overall design. CONDITION : This brilliant Deco table lamp is in exceptional original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Just very light signs of tarnish wear to the brilliant polished chrome with no abuse or repair evident, all glass sections are sparkling and blemish free. The original complete double pull chain socket lighting assembly has been inspected and appears safe and functional, t he power cord has likely been replaced at some time with insulated appliance grade wiring which appears to be completely safe & functional. DIMENSIONS: The assembly overall measures 25.5″ tall and 6″ wide at the base, shade is 9″ tall X 13″ in diameter. The bulbs are NOT included.
Akro Agate Slag Glass & Chrome Table Lamp 3 Way Switch Shade Holder W. Finial
This lamp is in excellent condition. I see no chips or cracks. It measures about 26 high with the shade holder and finial in place. It has a 3 way switch. First turn bottom base lights up, second turn top light turns on only, third turn both lights turn on. This is illustrated in pictures 14, 15, 16. It has been rewired with new cord. Great old collectible art deco lamp from the 1930′s.

1920s-1930s Houze/Akro Agate Custard Slag Glass Table Lamp Art Deco Skyscraper
This lamp does not glow, although it is very similar to Houze uranium glass. There is some normal surface wear and minor paint loss on the iron base, but no chips or cracks in the glass. One of the little sliders that secure the harp around the socket is missing and the other is cracked from age. These are not really necessary as the harp fits snugly in the holder without them and is not loose. Needs a good cleaning. The electric works, but the wiring is old and should be inspected/replaced before use. Measures about 18-1/2″ tall including the finial with a 6″ square base at the feet.
