Up for sale is this early and hard to find mission period ceiling light fixture in good overall condition, wiring redone in the past, great glass on that fixture with amazing colors. Size is 20 tall and frmae including the sockets is 16 x 16 inches, all sockets are Hubbell. Rare Suess Slag Glass Lamp Chicago Bronze Four Pull Chain Lights 32 Wow
Up for your perusal one amazing Suess slag glass lamp. This outstanding piece does light up and works a ok. We bought this for ourselves awhile ago and used it in our living room. It gives off decent light as there are four pull chain sockets. No cracks in the original shade. This lamp has stood the test of time. Last one I could find. And trust me we have been searching for years. Was on Fontaines as shown in the picture. Please note the capper on this is missing and there are no chains. We elected to leave her as she stands. She is gorgeous. She’s extremely heavy. She’s made of bronze. I’m curious as to what the odd holes are in the base? Are they purely ornamental or did they hold glass vials for silk flowers? I have been obsessed with this lamp for a good while. I could never find another like it nor could I find a manunfacturers name so I was so excited to finally find it on google. Has some finish wear, scratches, and a little tarnishing. 5 different lights all work great. The slag glass base lights and just had a new switch and bulb installed. This is the only bulb that is included with the lamp. 3 accent lamps with their own 3 way switch. Use 1, 2, or all 3 depending on the amount of light needed. Accent light use standard e26 bulbs. The upward facing ” main ” lamp bulb uses a e39 base bulb or standard e26 with the included new adapter. The milk glass shade is in great condition, nice heavy thick glass. Ever Brite Products Corp.
