Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp. Being offered is an antique Art Nouveau style slag glass lamp with caramel colored glass from the 1920′s. Lamp has six panels with a repeating burgundy flowers with yellow centers and dark green leaves. It stands 21 1/2″ in height and the shade is 16 1/2″ wide. Lamp has been newly rewired with a period style cord & plug and ready for use in your home. It is not marked but it is most likely a Rainaud or Miller, nicely made lamp. Condition is excellent with no damage, no missing pieces & all panels with no cracks or chips. Please view all pictures provided as they are the best description. Handel Arts Crafts Mission Leaded Slag Glass Antique Bradley Hubbard Era Lamp nr. This is a nice leaded lamp with great color as you can see. The handel base measures 24 inches tall and the shade is 18.5 inches wide, so this is a large lamp folks. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. It has a three socket cluster and its been recently rewired with correct period style cloth cord and old plug. The patina worn a little bit on the base as would be expected for a 100 year old base. The shade in original condition with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. A few stray tight age cracks, 8 or so, here or there as would be expected for a leaded shade such as, especially with the shade having several hundred pieces in the making process such as this. The glass vibrant and alive as the pictures show and all the leading intact. Great glass here folks with some nice dirt in the striations of the glass. Very nice patina on the leading throughout as well. As far as i know, only handel shades fit handel shade rests and thats been the standard for me for 20+ years. So could this be a handel shade, i say yes. Is it signed no. Either way an extremely nice shade handel or not on a very nice signed handel base. Base also coming with the very desirable tepee shade rest which adds more character and depth to the overall appearance. That’s a substantial savings, so please factor that in when making your offer. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding. No breaks or other damage, concerns. There are 2 very small areas in the painted glass panels that show the slightest bit of wear, I did show them in pics. 1 Hairline scratch if you will, the other spot is small as well, natural paint loss occurrence with the passage of time. All new modern replacement wiring throughout. 2 bulbs at the top with pull chain sockets, base illuminates as well, separate small switch at the rear of the base. Nice clean green felt on the bottom. I have for sale this super cool signed Bradley and Hubbard desk/piano lamp in very nice original condition. What a cool design and great look. This is a very very seldom seen lamp folks. Anything with fish on the base makes something like this very desirable. The base measures 15.5 inches tall, its protrudes out 9 inches, and the shade is 5 inches wide. As such, more multi purpose. The base without any damage and needs no excuses. It’s in fine working order and is properly signed underneath the base plate. There are no missing parts or pieces. Onto the shade, The shade in very nice overall condition and has no breaks or cracked panels and the leading holding the panels in is all tight and right. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers.
