Bradley Hubbard Slag Glass Antique Vintage Art Nouveau Lamp Handel Era
Stunning and rare example of an Art Nouveau designed lamp by Bradley & Hubbard. It is rare to find these with the original base matching the shade. It adorns two Harvey Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls which work perfectly. As you can see from the pics the socket black insulator tips have seen better days. The steel base bottom cover is not original as the original was rusty. The base is signed B&H as well. The shade filigree is excellent as is the original glass. All tabs are present and only one small panel has one very tight fracture which appears to be stable. The lamp is 19″H, the shade is 16″ at the widest point, and the base diameter is 8.5. A new cloth covered cord has been professionally installed which adorns a polarized acorn embossed plug. I have more pics upon request. Antique Art nouveau 3 1/2 Rest Fitter Slag Lamp Base 23 Royal Co. Handel Era
It is 23 inches tall and bottom is 8 inches wide. Original sockets and pulls fine. Patina is awesome and has original finial and cap or rest. Bryant sockets and long pulls. Has one small pit in lower base. A great condition item. Rest is 3 1/2 inches fitter. Has silk cord and old pug.
Charles Parker (attr.) Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. Take a look at this really unusual and highly colorful leaded lamp that I believe was made by Charles Parker. There isn’t a lot of information out there about this company, but I have owned a few of their lamps (mostly overlays) and this certainly has all of the characteristics of that company. I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the wonderful bright colors and designs in this fantastic lamp. What is unusual about this one is the use of almost all bent glass which is more difficult and was more costly to do since it involved bending the pieces before assembling them. Te glass is all granite backed as well which really makes it fire when lit. In terms of size, the shade measures 17″ in diameter and the lamp is 22″ tall. In terms of condition I see no cracks or chips in the glass panels which means this one was very well cared for. The wonderful floral petal themed triple stem. Base has a beautiful copper colored finish that looks perfect with the shade. It is marked with what I believe is the Charles Parker symbol and the model number 1709. This is a very nice, rare and quite beautiful example of one of Charles Parker’s lamps that would stand out in any setting. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.

Here’s a really huge Handel triple socket lamp base. This is a base that needs a good sized shade and if you have such a shade this base will add tremendous value to it. It has recently been refinished in a shiny dark brown color with metallic speckles. Comes complete with its original sockets, interiors, and acorn pull chains. Recently rewired with period style cloth braided cord. Its a large base standing 23″ tall with a bottom that measures 6 1/4″ in square. Widest middle part is about 7 1/2 in diameter. Its a nice all original base with its original, but fairly worn, copper colored finish and original matching Bryant pull chain sockets with their original interiors and even acorn pulls. Its a large base standing 24″ tall with a bottom that measures 7 1/2″ in diameter. Unsigned, but 100% guaranteed to be Handel. No socket interiors and (obviously) not currently wired. Bradley Hubbard Arts Crafts Leaded Vintage Slag Glass Antique Lamp Handel Era
That’s an unbelievable savings as well. Please, and by all means, feel free to ask me any questions at all before submitting an offer. This is not a common B and H lamp by any stretch and i have only owned two in my 25 years of collecting and dealing. The glass in this shade is very nice and extremely vibrant and this is a mid sized lamp in that it’s measuring 18 inches tall and the shade being 14 inches wide. The shade without any damage to report and all leading strong and solid throughout. No breaks in the glass to be found anywhere. The glass most likely Murano glass as the two companies worked together many many years. The deep and bright colors light up better than the photos can show. The lead roses overlay also without issue on the shade as well. Now on to the base. It’s in original, and very desirable “frogskin” patina with the base having no damage at all and in fine working order. Four arms tight and right and hold the shade in snuggly as it should. This is a very seldomly seen Bradley and Hubbard lamp and it’s in excellent original patina. It’s in great nice arts and crafts style form and excellent for any Stickley or Limbert style table or nightstand. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions at all before making an offer.
