Handel Style Leaded Glass Table Lamp – Reproduction. This high-quality reproduction table lamp features a domed leaded glass shade composed of a geometric grid of variegated green and cream slag glass, accented by a lower border of pink floral blossoms and dark green leaves. The shade rests on a substantial metal base with a dark verdigris patina and a vase-form column molded with stylized geometric scrollwork. It is not an original Handel lamp. The fixture includes a three-socket cluster operated by acorn pull chains and is topped with a pierced metal heat cap. The underside of the base is covered in felt. The lamp is fully functional at the time of listing. Approximate dimensions: 23″ H x 18″ diameter shade. Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the description. PLEASE NOTE: One pane of the slag glass shade has a visible crack through the glass (see photos). The glass remains intact and secure within the lead came, and the lamp is fully functional. Wilkinson Leaded Slag Stained Glass Floral Lamp Handel Duffner Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really nice looking and early floral lamp by Wilkinson. The reason I say early is due to the use of curved glass in the shade, which was done earlier on. This pattern with the floral border is fairly common in Wilkinson, but the later versions have all flat glass. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, and from them you can see the multicolored floral apron with a brickwork upper part. This is a full sized and very impressive leaded floral lamp with a 18 1/2″ diameter shade that stands 24″ tall. Its in excellent, all original condition and appears to have been very well cared for in its over 120 year life! I see maybe 2 or 3 cracks here and there throughout the shade (which is itself pretty remarkable), and no repairs or replaced pieces. The use of bent glass and really thin lead lines attests to the quality of this maker and really adds to the beauty of the lamp. The base is super heavy and has a wonderful dark brass colored finish. It has all of its original hardware and has recently been rewired with period style cloth braided cord. Wilkinson made some really great lamps and because of the bent panels in this one, I’d say it is one of their better early floral ones. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
Arts Crafts Leaded Antique Vintage Slag Glass Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Era
That’s huge overall savings folks. Thanks for looking and please check out my other lamps as well. I have for sale this super nice American leaded slag glass lamp. Maker unknown but certainly in the same quality level as Bradley and Hubbard or Lamp Brothers and Greene or Chicago Mosaic. This is not a reproduction lamp by any stretch. This is a very very nice lamp folks so pay attention lol. This lamp is in very good overall condition. The base in very nice original condition and patina and presents itself very well as you can see. It’s in an arts and crafts style and has been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord. The lamp is in fine working order. There is no damage at all to report in regards to the base. The shade in an uncommon yet very desirable parasol design with great quality and colored glass. I see no signs of any outright blatant damage nor repairs just a few tight ages lines/cracks here and there, please see photos in total maybe 5-7 out of however 100′s of pieces of glass. These lines do not detract at all in regards to the presentation of the lamp either out or unlit, and will still be in place a 100 years from now. I only mention them for accuracy sake. The leading tight and right throughout and no loose glass pieces/segments. No signs of previous repair as well. This has been a well maintained lamp for the past 100+ years. This is a full sized lamp measuring in at 22. Inches tall with the shade being 19.5 inches wide. What i especially like about this lamp is that no other period makers designed anything like this, therefore it stands out from the crowd. The glass coloration, the base, the design, the sizing, all unlike other makers and to me thats what makes the difference between average and outstanding and uniquely (no pun intended) different. Bradley Hubbard Slag Glass Antique Vintage Art Nouveau Lamp Handel Era
Stunning and rare example of an Art Nouveau designed lamp by Bradley & Hubbard. It is rare to find these with the original base matching the shade. It adorns two Harvey Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls which work perfectly. As you can see from the pics the socket black insulator tips have seen better days. The steel base bottom cover is not original as the original was rusty. The base is signed B&H as well. The shade filigree is excellent as is the original glass. All tabs are present and only one small panel has one very tight fracture which appears to be stable. The lamp is 19″H, the shade is 16″ at the widest point, and the base diameter is 8.5. A new cloth covered cord has been professionally installed which adorns a polarized acorn embossed plug. I have more pics upon request. It is 23 inches tall and bottom is 8 inches wide. Original sockets and pulls fine. Patina is awesome and has original finial and cap or rest. Bryant sockets and long pulls. Has one small pit in lower base. A great condition item. Rest is 3 1/2 inches fitter. Has silk cord and old pug.
Charles Parker (attr.) Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. Take a look at this really unusual and highly colorful leaded lamp that I believe was made by Charles Parker. There isn’t a lot of information out there about this company, but I have owned a few of their lamps (mostly overlays) and this certainly has all of the characteristics of that company. I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the wonderful bright colors and designs in this fantastic lamp. What is unusual about this one is the use of almost all bent glass which is more difficult and was more costly to do since it involved bending the pieces before assembling them. Te glass is all granite backed as well which really makes it fire when lit. In terms of size, the shade measures 17″ in diameter and the lamp is 22″ tall. In terms of condition I see no cracks or chips in the glass panels which means this one was very well cared for. The wonderful floral petal themed triple stem. Base has a beautiful copper colored finish that looks perfect with the shade. It is marked with what I believe is the Charles Parker symbol and the model number 1709. This is a very nice, rare and quite beautiful example of one of Charles Parker’s lamps that would stand out in any setting.
