Antique Old Art Nouveau Deco Period Slag Bent Glass 8 Panel Lamp Shade 20 Wide
This is a nice, antique, metal-framed eight-panel bent slag glass lamp shade (see photos). The lamp shade is made with a metal frame retaining most of the original painted finish and eight bent glass panels in a brown and white multicolored caramel color. The lamp shade includes the original center cap (see photos). The shade is not marked by the maker. I do not know the maker of this item. The shade is antique, dating to 90 +/- years old. The shade has a simple, elegant design in a transitional Art Nouveau/Deco original period style. The shade portion (without the center medallion in place) measures about 7.5 inches high, and it measures about 20 inches wide from side to side between the widest points. The item is from an estate liquidation. The glass panels are in good condition without cracks or repairs. The shade has some paint finish losses to the metal frame and some minimal wear (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item). Beautiful Antique 1920′s Bradley & Hubbard School Arts & Crafts Bent Slag Panel Lamp is 23 1/2 inches tall from base to top of finial. Intricately designed base with a stem resembling a woman’s figure is covered in leaves. The bent slag glass shade is 14 1/4 inches from panel to panel (6 panels). The shade is 10 inches tall. The inside of the shade shows one panel has had the support replaced it has a screw showing on the outer frame. It looks like one of the sockets for the light bulbs has been replaced. There aretwo chain pulls, one for each lightbulb. The cord and plug are just over 3 feet long. Very good working condition.

Up for consideration is an antique 4 panel curved slag glass lamp by E. The lamp I believe stands 17.5 inches in height and is marked 831 on the base. It has good original paint with swagged floral overlay components. All of which are intact. The lamp has original paint and shows fine detail. Antique Bent Slag Glass Shade Panel Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Rainaud E Miller Rainaud Type & Era. Base and shade are original to each other. Measures about 21″ tall to top of finial, base bottom is 7 5/8″ wide. The shade is 16 1/2″ wide and 8 1/2″ high. Sockets retain the original ball pull chains. 6 large caramel bent glass slag panels. Nice complete working condition with restored old fashioned plug and cloth covered cord. Only issue is some wear to the gold finish. See the detailed photos.
