When illuminated, the warm caramel and cream slag glass glows beautifully and highlights the natural variations within each glass panel. The shade features curved slag glass panels individually held within the metal framework, with openwork stems, leaves, flower buds and dimensional yellow blossoms. The tall fluted column flows into a coordinating round floral base. Its construction and styling are characteristic of early 20th-century American Art Nouveau slag glass lighting.
