Miller Bent Panel Slag Glass Double Light Lamp 1920′s
Getting harder to find true Arts and Crafts period bent panel or slag glass table lamps from the early 1900′s. It is a heavy cast iron metal base with most likely a zinc or pot metal center section as was common. This is a heavy lamp that has been correctly rewired for the two lights and does have it’s original surface but with wear to the antique gold paint. It is a lovely and functional example of early 20th century lighting at the height of the Mission or Craftsman period. The shade is original and measures 16 diameter and the total height is 21 inches. The glass panels of caramel slag are in excellent condition giving a subtle glow when lit. Not signed but iis most likely a Miller lamp. The finial is a typical Miller finial and is original to the lamp.

For Sale is a. Beautiful pair of antique art deco nouveau desk, vanity, boudoir slag glass table lamps. Each has 6 panels of caramel / tan slag glass. The bottoms are marked Made in U. A and the other marking I can’t make out but to pictures. They are about 15 tall. It is in good used, working condition, tested as shown in pictures. Antique 1920′s Rainaud Co. Art Nouveau 6 Panel Caramel Slag Glass Table Lamp #8 Made in the USA. The lamp has the original dual sockets with a single pull chain that works as new, and the electronic cord is good quality. All glass is flawless, and the lamp body and shade are solid, decorated with flowers, and draped urns with flame finials. As shown in the images, one metal flame detail is missing on the lower rim. The lamp looks, works, and offers so beautifully. 7 inches shade height. 20 inch total height. Rainaud Company made high quality lamps in Meriden, CT. From 1916 to about 1930. Vintage 1920′s Victorian Style Boudoir Slag Glass Polychrome Table Lamp
Offered here is a lovely little 1920′s boudoir sized polychrome table lamp with a fantastic slag glass shade! This little lamp is dripping with character. The base, cast of pot metal or spelter, is nicely molded and sports a wonderful, yet subtle polychrome finish in tones of gold and red. It is stamped on the bottom as shown in photos, but I do not know who made it. It’s a neat base, either way. The slag glass shade is a beautiful caramel color, unlit, and it spectacularly comes to life when illuminated. It looks like a miniature sunset! I couldn’t find any flaws, chips, or cracks of note. Notice the detailed filigree pieces between each panel – nice. The fitter is a standard 2 1/4 inch diameter. The socket is original to the lamp (from the time I acquired it), but the cloth covered wire and insulator are new. The plug is also original to the lamp, and I retained it when rewiring. It is a dense, hard plastic, and has one very tight hairline crack – but it is stable. I tried to flex it with various tools and amounts of pressure to see if it moved at all, but I couldn’t get it to budge. The insulator disc has been replaced. The lamp measures 14 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shade, and the base measures 4 inches by 6 inches.
