The base is cast metal. There is a pretty floral pattern throughout the lamp. A terrific piece to own! 15 1/2 tall (with shade). Each panel is about 4 1/4 long. Made of metal and glass. There is a crack on one of the glass panels (see our photos). Some minor paint loss here and there (nothing serious, see our photos). Otherwise, it looks to be in good used shape!
