That’s an unbelievable savings!!! This is not a common lamp by any stretch folks and lights up very nicely. Handel was known to do small tulip shades in this manner but i dont believe Handel did full sized lamp like this. This is a lamp your neighbors will not have i promise you lol and its in very nice overall condition for its age. The lamp is a full sized lamp measuring in at 24 inches tall with the shade being 18 inches wide. Let’s start with the shade. No missing glass segments in the shade of course and no breaks in the glass. All the leading tight and right throughout and no loose glass segments. The lower interior panels being white, with the outer panels being green. Patina on the leading for the shade matching the base nicely. Some wear and or slight blemishes on the base but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance and as to be expected for a lamp 100+ years old. The base also in fine working order and there is no damage to report. No dents or dings or metalware loses. The base also retains what appears to be its original P and S turnkey sockets and its been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord. We also put in a inline switch as well for easy to reach of turning it off or on. This lamp will command any room its put in and lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table due to its arts and crafts design and form. All in all a super nice arts and crafts lamp by one of the more rarer so you cant beat that. I’m quite certain you will enjoy it and find it informative. From there our rates will increase from the base price posted for the Eastern Time Zone as follows. Central Time Zone Add: 15%. Mountain Time Zone Add: 25%. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding. Up for consideration is a very nice and early Morgan & Sons leaded glass lamp. This is a great looking Morgan and very early. The lamp stands at 23 tall to the top of the finial. The shade is 15 in Diameter. The best about this lamp is the shade and base are not a marriage even tho most makers shades and bases are interchangeable. This shade and base are meant to be together on the day it was made. The Morgan base is very nice and all original with a nice bark brown patina with a pair of Harvey Hubbell sockets with original mica interiors and acorn pulls. The base has matching style Cabochons half round design matching the leaded shade. Morgan bases are rarer then there shades. Most Morgan shades you see for sell if you can find one will have a base from another maker. The Leaded shade is very nice 15 Dia with great color that really fires up as you can see. The skirt has the half round glass Cabochons that match the style of the base. There has been 4 panels that have been replaced. The repair looks to be very old and very well done. There are about 7 small heat cracks around the skirt of the shade most are in the half rounds. I took a lot of pictures which is part of the description. A hard to find lamp even with the repairs this is a amazing and rare Morgan. Any questions please ask.
