Stunning Rare Pairpoint Dolphin Marble Base Slag Glass Lamp. There are some chips to the marble. Amazing to have the original Shade to this piece! Stunning coloring in the slag looks amazing when lit. The switch is a bit difficult to get to inside the shade. The top part of the shade metal may have been repaired See pictures. Antique Victorian Green Marble Onyx Slag Glass Table Lamp Lions Paw Feet Ornate
A great vintage lamp with green slag glass with brown swirls to simulate onyx or a green marble perhaps. Has a fantastic Victorian look with spherical and block pieces and lion’s paw feet. Stands about 26 tall to the top of the finial. No apparent damage, does have moderate to heavy wear including a black substance dripped on the finial. Does not light as cord is missing, will need rewired or a new socket. Not sure of the age or maker. A GORGEOUS Ornate Brass & Marble. Tiffany or Handel Style Table Lamp Base. Everything about this lamp is RARE. The marble base says made in… We can’t tell what the sticker said, but look closely at that marble… (See the photo for the sticker that is under the felt). The dark pieces you see are all cast metal and of course everything shining gold is solid BRASS, including the 2 “Meteor” pull sockets (as well as their pull chains). Even the solid brass finial is something unique. What a conversation piece! NOTE: When we took it apart to clean it, there was an engraving on the bottom Cast Iron piece that said “BP No 20″. This is heavy enough put on Tiffany (or Handel) Style Stained Leaded Glass Lamp Shade. It weighs almost 8 pounds. Measurements: 27 to the top of the finial. The marble base is 6″ square x 1″ thick. Similar to G-15-16 but has a different connector. Catalog describes it as maroon. Most would call it purple. See page 71 of Courters book. Has numerous nicks here and there but nothing major. Ive only seen a handful of these and the glass seems to have been prone to bubbles, causing the majority of the imperfections as seen in last three pictures. LG Vintage French Empire/Gothic Marble Palace Patio Floor Lamp-Slag Glass Style
It has a very heavy rouge/caramel streaked marble column that co-ordinates well with the palace patio light from both a color and design standpoint. The lamp is in very good condition with only a repair to the backside of the palace patio frame….. The lamp is very tall at just over 6 feet while the base is 10 square.
