With minimal sign of use or wear and 2 pieces of glass with cracks – shown in photos – one in a bottom long section; another at a corner. This is a quality, sturdy and nicely crafted leaded style lamp shade. The silver ball finial is for displaying the shade on a lamp and is not included. You are purchasing the shade only. The shade is shown both without and with a light bulb to show the color with light on or off. Measurements – 8″ H x 11″ Square. Weight – 3 lb 1 oz. Original Antique Amber Slag Glass Cast Metal Table Lamp Dual Bulb Circa 1900
Base measures approximately 20 in height. Shade measures approximately 13″ in diameter and 8″ deep. This lamp originally belonged to my great grandmother. I have a photo of it that was taken around 1920, so it is at least that old. All glass pieces are original and intact, each is held in place with tiny metal tabs. The only visible marking that I can find is on the light fixture (see photos-Bryant). It is fully functional, and finial is also included. All photos are of actual item. Beautiful hanging ceiling lamp! Needs to be REWIRED! No chips or cracks on the slag glass panels. Some corrosion stains on metal beads in between the panels. The metal ring around the shade has rust as well as the other metal parts. Height is 12″ and diameter is 17″. Comes with white glass globe.
