Vintage Hanging Slag Glass 3 Light Chandelier Metal Frame with a Tree & Grasses Design Unknown Maker. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep it for yourself! Additional pictures will be posted in the next few days, we just wanted to get this piece listed for our customers to take a look at. Just beautiful colors on the leaded glass lamp shade. The slag glass components are a blue and a light green. The chandelier dates to the circa 1940s to 1950s period. Very intricately detailed metal frame with nice cut out designs of trees and grasses that securely hold the glass and accentuate the beauty of the piece. Just beautiful when lit from behind. All the metal frame seems to be intact, no missing pieces or repairs. We also do not observe any cracks, hairlines or repairs in any of the pieces of slag glass. The brass frame has raised design of trees on the top part and then grasses on lower part of the frame. Frame has a gold colored bronzed look to it. We do not see any maker markings on the chandelier. Looks very similar to Pittsburgh Glass Lighting pieces we have had in the past. Could be marked and we just don’t know what we should be looking for. Hanging chain and the metal plate to go on the ceiling is with the chandelier. The Vtg Slag Glass Chandelier is 12″ tall, by 20″ across the bottom. Other items that can be seen in the pieces are not included, only the slag glass chandelier described here.
