Up for consideration is this Rare Awesome Antique Miller Co. Student Bankers Table Desk Lamp featuring Brass Base and Light Green Slag Glass. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. One must remember this was made a century ago! Handmade by an artisan and why they’re referred to as Arts and Crafts era. It is not a new lamp and the shade frame does sit off on the shade arm. We did not do a lot of adjustments but there are multiple adjustment possibilities. A lot of why one would want a lamp like this is because of those adjustment possibilities! But at the same time have to be considered when purchasing a lamp of this age! It has the original screw adjusts and care should be used when tightening them to insure that they are fully tightened, to prevent the lamp shade frame from falling, breaking the glass. There are areas of age related fading, missing plate on shade frame, patina or tarnish and light scratches (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the glass. It has a pull chain switch located on the socket (see photos). Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. It measures approximately 10.5 inches wide at shade outside fasteners, 9 inches by 5.5 inches for frame, square for shade, 6.5 inches by 7.5 inches for oval base, 12.5 inches tall as shown in gallery photo and 16.5 inches tall fully raised as shown when showing lamp socket.
