Antique Curved Slag Glass & Brass Lamp Shade // 22 x 12 // Eight Panel
Listed for your consideration…………. An antique curved slag glass lamp shade. Eight panel with metal decorative filigree, please see photo # 2. I believe the structure of the piece is brass. The shade measures 22 x 12 inches, base diameter x height. The shade weighs approximately six pounds. The colorations of the eight main panels and the eight panel shade crown are true to the piece’s actual color tones…… Please see all the photos. The shade originally was made with hanging glass tubes and beads, the fabric is still attached to the shade, and you will also receive a tin of the original tubes and beads….. Please see photos 10, 11, & 12. The sixteen panels, main & crown, are free of cracks. A couple of the crown panels are a bit loose. The main structure of the piece is intact, yet it does need to be secured and tighten a bit. The filigree does show wear in places, yet mostly in place. PLEASE ENLARGE AND EXAMINE ALL THE PHOTOS. Vintage Arts & Crafts Signed Miller Slag Glass Lamp. This lamp features the most beautiful matching green slag glass. The lamp has an intricate floral four-sided design and it is all in perfect condition with no damage or repair. The lamp base is a two-socket fixture, the sockets and pull chains look old however, I can not guarantee that they are original to the lamp. The lamp is in working condition, it has an older cord with a large Bakelite plug. The lamp measures 20” tall to the top of the finial, the shade measures 12” square at the bottom and 17” at its widest on the diagonal. Fabulous VICTORIAN Hanging Lamp, Amber & Green Slag Glass, Floral Design
This is a Gorgeous Victorian-Era Hanging Light Fixture, Lamp, Chandelier. Hangs from a chain with built-on heavy hook, plugs into an outlet but could be direct-wired. A pull chain turns it on and off. Amber/Gold/Green SLAG GLASS panels set in bronze? Upper panels are perfectly curved, and there are 16 of them. Lower panels are set behind beautifully done floral designs, and there are 8 of them. Also 8 top curved petal panels. Measures 23.5″ in diameter, 12.5″ high (not counting hook). One lower greenish panel has some light cracks that are pictured. Check the pictures out carefully. This is a very special piece! The weight I’ve put down is an educated guess on my part. This is from the early 1900′s The original finish on this piece was in terrible condition, so it was refinished. It’s been painted with in a subtle gold finish then antiqued to give it an older appearance This is a heavy piece (nearly 8lbs) and made of cast iron. It has an antique dual socket cluster with pull chain on/off switches. VTG Table Lamp Base Antique Art Deco Lamp Base Gold Finish For Slag Glass Shade. Up for sale we have an awesome antique table lamp. The cluster has the original finish that came w/ the lamp as well as the 3 diameter shade holder / heat cap.
