Incredible Signed Northwest Art Shade Co. Bent Panel Slag Glass Lamp Mermaids
A stunning and rare signed Northwest Art Shade Co. Bent panel slag glass lamp. The panels are in caramel, blue, and red. The shade has 32 panels. The ornate frame features cherubs, mermaids, and mythical beasts. The shade retains its original gold and green patina with blue and red iridescent painted accents. The lamp is in excellent, pristine condition. No breaks or missing panels. Every shade clip is still present. Minor finish wear on the neck of the lamp, between the base and the socket cluster. The base is lit. The lamp has been rewired. There is no on/off switch for the base, so the lamp presently has to be unplugged to turn off the base light. A switch for the base could easily be installed on the cord. The lamp measures 26.5 inches tall. The shade is 8.25 inches high x 20.5 inches diameter. Incredible Prairie Dbl Pedestal Mission Oak Slag Glass Lamp C. 1910 Petersen Art
Bought this 20 years ago direct from David Rago at a Seattle show. Prairie style table lamp with cutout crosses. I’ve seen 3 or 4 over the years and believe they were made in Minnesota by Petersen Art Company. It had this older refinish at the time i acquired it. When the refinish was done it was likely disassembled somewhat so an extra nail, reglued parts or a bit of minor repair should be expected (see pics). But all things being equal its in very good original condition. The sockets and pulls, the power cord, glass and wood are original as made. Stunning statement table top lamp at a fraction of the cost of Stickley, Limbert, Tiffany, or Van Earp. Additional pics upon request. Incredible Large Antique Arts / Crafts Mission Oak Slag Glass Lamp C. 1910
This sale is for an incredible, beautiful antique Arts and Crafts mission oak slag glass lamp c. It is quite large measuring 24 tall to the top of the shade. The shade measures approx. 17 1/2 on each side and the base measures approx. It is all original and the finish has slight crazing from age. The slag glass has no cracks and when unlit it appears purple but lights up to a beautiful reddish purple colour. For the sake of accuracy, two of the wooden arms that hold the shade have cracks where they attach to the center stem as seen in the last picture but this is an easy fix with wood glue. I could not see if there is a makers name, the base has the old original cork type coating. LARGE ANTIQUE LAMP solid brass GREEN SLAG oil lamp conversion 1800′s INCREDIBLE
THIS WILL MAKE A STATEMENT IN ANY ROOM! Made by Royal P&A in the 1800′s. It was originally an oil lamp but has been converted to electric. PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES OF THIS BEAUTY. Extra large green and white slag shade. Each of the 16 slag glass pieces are held together by an ORNATE metal design. The base is ornate as well and solid brass. The perfectly designed body is glass and has a great satin/velvet look about it. The lamp stands almost 24″ tall and is over 17″ wide. Absolutely no cracks or chips in the glass body. The brass pieces have little wear and perfect patina. The lamp is made of all metal and glass. The shade is free of any missing glass and only has one of the small pieces with a crack. It looks to have some quality past metal repairs. The cord is heavy duty and has the switch built into the cord. The cord is extra long as well. The socket is a little loose but does the job as it should. It was taken very good care of! It appears to have almost all of its original pieces and could be converted back to oil if wanted. It will be very well protected well and insured…. Let me know if you have questions.
