It is in very good to excellent vintage antique estate condition. This is a lamp we have married the base and shade. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass (see photos). It measure approximately 10 inches in diameter for shade, 5.5 inches in diameter for base and 18.5 inches tall to top of finial. Exceptional Antique Eight Panel Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp
Rare is the antique lamp of this size and material in such impeccable condition as this one is. At two feet tall and sixteen inches in diameter at the shade, this Art Nouveau (circa 1915) slag glass lamp features a cast metal (probably spelter) filigree shade housing eight glass panels with a geometric stem and floral motifs at the base. Around the dome the glass has a light amber hue; around the border of the shade, the glass is a robin’s egg blue. Standard base socket with pull chain switches are rewired. Both metal and glass are in perfect condition, with no cracks, flea bites, hairlines, or scratches to the glass (interior and exterior); and no dents, chips, cracks, or other compromises to the metal. Listed for your consideration…………. An antique curved slag glass lamp shade. Eight panel with metal decorative filigree, please see photo # 2. I believe the structure of the piece is brass. The shade measures 22 x 12 inches, base diameter x height. The shade weighs approximately six pounds. The colorations of the eight main panels and the eight panel shade crown are true to the piece’s actual color tones…… Please see all the photos. The shade originally was made with hanging glass tubes and beads, the fabric is still attached to the shade, and you will also receive a tin of the original tubes and beads….. Please see photos 10, 11, & 12. The sixteen panels, main & crown, are free of cracks. A couple of the crown panels are a bit loose. Antique 3 socket Miller Slag Glass Lamp w/ eight panel slag glass shade. This is an extremely large and ornate Miller (signed) lamp. Very unusual base plate with colored insert and elaborate stem design. The sockets appear to have been changed at some time but the pull chains are extremely long and compliment the piece. Antique Miller Slag Glass Lamp with Eight panels, Early shade Handel Era. This is a large signed Miller Company Lamp. The shade is a magnificent eight panel with extensive intact filigree. The shade is attributed to Imperial Lamp and Glass, no cracks or breaks. Shade is 18 c to c, all metal work intact, very extensive. It appears to be rewired recently but should always be checked, works fine, see pictures. As you can understand this is a very heavy base and shade due to metal work.
