Duffner & Kimberly Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a beautiful example of Duffner & Kimberly’s later work. The domed shade is made with all bent glass and the red and pink flowers have a wonderful contrast against the pale green background glass. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the glass is all original and there are maybe 1 or 2 small cracks in the very small glass pieces around the flowers…. None of the main panels have any damage whatsoever. The shade is 19 1/2″ in diameter and the lamp stands 23 1/2″ tall. The simple colonial style base has its original dark brass finish and sockets and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord. Folks, nice floral lamps from Duffner & Kimberly do not come up all that often and I can honestly say that you won’t find one in as nice or in as original condition as this one. If you have ever wanted a great example of a true Duffener & Kimberly original lamp, this may be the one for you. Thanks, and please see my other listings for other great lamps from this period. The lamp is ready to be fitted with a longer cord or can be installed directly. Shade needs exterior cleaning NO Cracks chips or damage to the glass. Rare Original Bradley & Hubbard Aladdin Slag Glass Overlay Lamp
Rare Original Bradley & Hubbard Aladdin Slag Glass Overlay Lamp. One of the rarest jewels to find in the world of antique lighting is this Bradley and Hubbard Aladdin lamp based art glass lamp. The glass in this lamp is world renowned to be the product of B&H’s early collaboration with Murano of Italy. Original untouched condition including wiring. Has the partial label B&H used: Patented Murano Aug. The lamp measures 11″ tall and the shade is 6″ wide. For reference the lamp is pictured and listed in the 2000 Antique Trader Lamp book on pgs. The finial appears bent, slightly crooked. One of the white bottom small panels has a crack; see 11th. Slight loss of overlay to one panel- see 8th photo. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. If you want what your neighbors dont have, this is it. The glass quality and coloration in the shade so very nice as well as the pattern in the glass. The lamp is measuring in at 20 inches tall with the shade being 17 wide straight across. The base with its original hubbell sockets with acorn pulls and working nicely and with no damage to report. The base in original patina throughout and it’s been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. As for the shade that is also in very nice overall condition. Again great quality glass and as you can see it lights up very very nicely. No breaks or cracks in the glass, nor any missing glass segments. Victorian Arts Crafts Vintage Slag Glass Bradley Hubbard Handel Era Lamp NR
That’s huge overall savings folks. This is a very nice looking and designed lamp and it lights up incredibly. Not a very common lamp for sure and this one is in excellent overall condition. This is also a very large lamp measuring in at 25 inches tall with the shade being 20 inches wide, so lots of bang for the buck here folks. The base in good working order and recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. The base also in original gold patina throughout and thats in very nice overall condition on the base as well. The base without any metalware damage at all and the embossing is really something so please look at the detail both in the base and on the filligree on the shade. The filligree on the shade also in excellent condition with no losses or breaks there. The glass free of chips, cracks, or losses of any sort. Lamp and shade unsigned but 1000% documented and known to be a Parker, so no question to authenticity there. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well.
