Suess Leaded Slag Stained Glass Floral Lamp Handel Duffner Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a wonderful and very colorful floral border lamp by Suess. Just a beautiful looking lamp on an absolutely wonderful solid bronze spade bottom base. Just look at the flowers and how well they are done. They use bent glass and are arranged in a repeating pattern with green leaves and brown stems. I will let you look at my pictures and be the judge of how impressive this lamp really is. In terms of size, this is a full sized table lamp. The shade is just over 17″ in diameter and the lamp stands about 20″ tall. The shade is in absolutely wonderful condition with maybe 5 or 6 tiny breaks. The outstanding spade bottomed base is solid bronze and is 100% original with a great deep green finish, original sockets and wonderful cast bronze cap. It has been wired with period style cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
Amazing Sea Themed JA Whaley Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Handel Duffner Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. Check out this really amazing, highly unusual, and I suspect very rare JA Whaley lamp. I have only had one like this before with the same octagonal shape, but it had cattails around the border. This pattern I have never seen before and its just wonderful….. Especially if you love or live by the sea! Just look at the different themes in it….. Sailboats, windmills and figures wondering the dunes….. All against a beautiful blue ocean and sky background. It really doenst get much better than this in an unusual sea themed lamp! I will let my pictured do most of the talking here and from them you can see 8 different sea themes around the border. In terms of size, this is a very large and impressive table lamp. The shade is 19″ in diameter and the lamp stands just over 27″ tall. There are a few very minor cracks here and there, but none in the large blue border pieces and only one small one near the top. The well known JA Whaley base shows up with a lot of their shades. Its pot metal with its original dark brownish finish. It has its original P&S labeled sockets, shade rest, cast metal cap and finial. It has been wired with period style cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. Large Arts and Crafts Antique 27 Duffner & Kimberly Leaded Lamp Slag Glass Lamp
Duffner & Kimberly Lamp. Being offered is a beautiful antique Duffner & Kimberly leaded lamp. Height is 26 1/2″ and the width of the base is 8 1/2″, shade is 21″ wide and 9″ tall. The large heat cap measures 5 1/2″ wide with a 5″ tea cup cluster with 3 Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls. Lamp has been newly rewired with a period style cord and ready for use in your home. It is not marked but can be seen in Paul Crist’s book “Mosaic Shades Volume 2″ page 222 (shade in picture on right and base in picture on the left). It is in great condition with about 7 tight cracks, only other thing to mention is at some point someone soldered the heatcap to the shade. Unusual Floral Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp on Glass Base Handel Duffner Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is an interesting and cool little leaded stained glass accent lamp on a matching milk glass base. Very unusual and quite attractive. Super look with bright pink flowers against an off white background. The shade is hexagonal with the repeating floral scene on each of the 6 panels. I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the very cool and unusual design of this beautiful little lamp. This is a medium to small sized lamp larger than a boudoir but smaller than a full sized table lamp. The shade is 14″ in diameter and the lamp stands about 20 1/2″ tall. In terms of condition, I see a few hairlines in the background white glass (the worst of which is shown), but otherwise its in nice shape with no replaced pieces. The leading is very fine and detailed suggesting a good maker. The 2-socket milk glass base has a nice slender look with a floral design that complements the shade quite well. It has recently been rewired and comes ready to use and enjoy. Neither the base nor the shade is signed, and I do not have a clue who made it….. But it is a wonderful, antique, 1920′s era lamp in very fine overall condition. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. A truly outstanding beautiful all original rare antique Duffner & Kimberly early table lamp. This was a gas lamp that was converted to electric a long time ago. The all original slag glass in this shade is truly outstanding full of color and fire that is often missing in other lamps the photos don’t do it any justice. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or damage. The base plate is thick solid cast bronze making the base nice and heavy. The original patina on the base is in excellent untouched condition. The casting and overall quality of this lamp is very fine. There are what may appear to be a few cracks in a couple pieces of the slag glass that are shown in the last two photos, but they are not cracks at all. The top of the shade is slightly irregular as shown but will go unnoticed. It has been completely rewired with a new antique style cloth covered cord with the original bake-o-lite wall plug. The pull chain light socket is in perfect working order. I’ve installed a new paper socket liner for safety. Ready to use and enjoy for many years to come. It stands 22-1/2″ tall, and the shade is 16-1/2″ wide by 8-1/2 tall. The base is 7-1/2 wide. The shade will be double boxed with the base sent separately. Here is a real beauty….. And in very hard to find blueish…. This lamp came from a very high end estate…. It is well constructed, and has absolutely no flaws in the metal work or glass….. Not bad for something over a hundred years old! The pull chain works well, and the owners daughter said it was recently rewired with the original old plug…. And new period cloth wire! This lamp stands about 20 inches tall…. The shade removes easily…. And the detail is gorgeous. If I had to guess I’d say this is either Miller or Bradley and Hubbard. The bent slag glass is all original, and when lit looks beautiful. Ask all questions now…. Will be packed well… I WILL ESTIMATE THIS TO COST ABOUT 100 DOLLARS OR LESS…. Here’s a really colorful large conical floral stained glass chandelier. Beautiful shade with great glass…. I have no idea who made it, but it is by a quality maker and is guaranteed to be circa 1900. The shade is 25″ in diameter, 10 1/2″ tall, and has a 6 ring in the top. I see maybe 5 or 6 small cracks, but nothing serious. No replaced glass and no repairs. Duffner Arts Crafts Leaded Slag Glass Antique Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Era. That’s huge overall savings folks. I have for sale this very nice Duffner and Kimberly arts and crafts geometric leaded lamp. This lamp is in very good overall condition. The base in very nice original condition and presents itself very well as you can see. The three Bryant sockets in matching patina and with matching satellite pulls, and the base also recently rewired with period correct black cloth cord and old style plug. There is no damage at all to report in regards to the base or shade. The shade in very nice arts and crafts geometric design and in very good original condition. The green glass geometrics pieces of glass separated by the caramel panels giving off a great look lit or unlit. This ends with segments of pinched back gold jewels/chunk glass that glow really nicely when lit. No damage or cracks to be found and all the leading tight and right throughout and no loose glass pieces. The pictures as you see them here from three 7 watt bulbs thats it. Not 15, 25, 40′s or 60′s just 7 watt bulbs. This has been a well maintained lamp for the past 100+ years. This is a full sized lamp measuring in at 22.5 inches tall with the shade being 18.5 inches wide. What i especially like about this lamp is that no other period makers designed anything like this, therefore it stands out from the crowd. The glass coloration, the base, the design, the sizing, all unlike other makers and to me thats what makes the difference between average and outstanding and uniquely different.
