Duffner & Kimberly Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is an absolutely stunning example of Duffner & Kimberly’s work. They call this shade the “shell” and it should be readily apparent why. What’s amazing about this particular example is the number of different kinds of brown glass they used and how much they vary in color. In addition, the medallions at the top have a striking glow when lit up. This lamp is 100% original and has not been messed with in any way (except for the rewiring). The glass is all original. The base is all original. It is truly an excellent all around original lamp. As for size, the shade measures 19″ in diameter and the lamp stands 23″ tall. I will let my pictures do the talking here, but if you have any questions about this lamp please feel free to ask. Condition is as close to excellent as you can get with maybe a coupdl of small cracks here and there. I would not replace this piece as you would never find the same glass and it really does not detract from the appearance at all. The base retains all of its original hardware including matching Bryant pull chains with their original interiors and ball ended pull chains, original heart cutout cap, and finial. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Folks, these shell lamps do not come up all that often and I can honestly say that you won’t find one in as nice or in as original condition as this one. If you have ever wanted a great example of a true Duffener & Kimberly original lamp, this may be the one for you. Thanks, and please see my other listings for other great lamps from this period. It has just become too difficult and costly to do so effectively. It is actually much better for both of us this way as they will fully guarantee it to get there without damage and if something happens they will 100% stand behind it without any claims hassle. I have worked with this UPS Store over many years and they do a great job with things like this. You are also more than welcome to come and get it yourself, or if we are close I can meet you somewhere with it. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. ANTIQUE Arts and Crafts lamp Green Slag Glass SOLID OAK Mission LARGE 1900′s
This is a great period piece! I estimate it to be from around 1910. Glass is white with hues of green. Very thick and solid base. It is a heavy and well built lamp. Perfectly stained to bring out the beautiful oak. IT IS A LARGE LAMP. Just under 16″ across at it’s widest and 21″ tall. The base is 10 1/2 square. It turns on as it should. The wood is in good shape with only light signs of age. No major scratches, dings, or dents. All glass is free of chips or cracks. Looks great when lit up. Antique Suess Bent Slag Glass Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Miller Handel styles
This is a wonderful large bent Slag Glass lamp by the Suess Ornamental Glass Company of Chicago. Max Suess started the business in the early part of the 20th Century. Several patents were issued to him for his processes and techniques in manufacturing his products. Son Walter expanded the business into the manufacturing of lamps. Their period of lamp making lasted only a few years and was stopped by a serious fire in their factory. This lamp is unmarked and stands 27 inches tall on its 11 inch in diameter base. Apparently many of their bases were of bronze, however, this one is of cast iron and quite heavy with most of its original finish. A magnet sticks to it. The shade is 17 1/4 inches in diameter and 8 1/2 inches tall. It appears to be a sort of hammered copper or brass and held together with rivets. The slag glass panels are held in place with brass strips and small bolts with sheet metal thin nuts. Check out the photos. The patinated finish is almost all there and it looks great. The bent slag glass panels are all there with no chips or cracks. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Just a real nice rare lamp for your home. Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Miller 7 Panel Slag Glass Lamp
Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp. Being offered is a beautiful Art Nouveau style seven panel caramel colored slag glass lamp with a very nice over-lay. Lamp retains it’s original verdigris patina along with original heat cap & finial. Glass is slightly curved in on the bottom of the panels and has a wonderful glow with lite. Shade is 15 1/2″ wide and the lamp stands 24″ in height. Very well made lamp with a new vintage style cord and plug and is ready for use in your home. Lamp is not marked but I believe it is a Miller based on the construction. Condition is excellent with no damage to the glass panels or any of the metal over-lay. Vintage Stained Glass Hanging Swag Light Lamp Fixture Bronze Brass Gypsy Slag
Up for sale today is this Fabulous Vintage Hanging Swag Light or Lamp Fixture. As shown, looks to be made of Metalware such as Bronze or Brass. Great Stain Glass Elements with an ivory slag around the entire mid section with textured multicolored glass around the top and bottom. Lots of photos for you to review. Lamp Fixture itself is approx. 11.5″ tall x 12″ wide at widest. Condition looks good but I’ve given you lots of pics to check out. Vintage items may need cleaning.
