Please review all pictures for overall condition and size, as this forms the overall condition/description of the item. Wear is consistent with age and use. The cord was VERY worn and not safe to use, so we cut it. We kept the old plug for it and are including it (pictured). Pull chains are stuck, has scratches, marks, light rust, etc. The bottom has a cover welded or brazed on. Looks like it has been painted black possibly. The metal is either iron or spelter, possibly some brass/Bronze used in areas. It is hard to tell, we see some metallic color under the paint and we see brass/Bronze coloring. It also have very nice weight to it, heavier than it looks. Was possibly “Bronzed” at one point but got worn and then maybe someone painted it. Has some nice age, we believe early 1900s, around 1915. It is a great project lamp, it would look great restored. We believe the heavy Tiffany, Handel style slag/stained glass shades go to it. Measurements are in the photos/details.
