Up for consideration is this Rare One of a Kind Awesome Antique Torch Staircase Lamp Polygon Cream Slag Glass Shade and cut glass finial. Being green thinkers we took a hanging lamp and placed it as shown on another base. Generally speaking, slag glass lamps predate Tiffany’s style of lamps. Which was using broken pieces of slag glass, cut or grinding them joining them geometrically as needed to make lamp shades. They were joined together using a foil welding method developed by Tiffany. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. This is another lamp we have married a base and shade. There light area of missing paint, patina and tarnishing of the brass (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. Antique Candle Lamp Torch Jeweled Opaline Blue Slag Shade Brass Base Anchor Mark
Stunning antique candle lamp / torch with opaline blue slag glass shade. 8 large jewels within a brass filigree frame. Push-up candlestick inside (part of a candle remains – you’ll need another). Straight, clear glass chimney around the candle. One small section has a broken tine on the underside of the lamp (see pic). There is an unusual maker’s mark on the bottom of the lamp that I could not identify. Approximate measurements (may vary slightly). 18 1/2″ high 5″ diameter base. Up for consideration is this Awesome One of Kind Antique Gothic Arts and Crafts Torch Table Lamp featuring Brown – Blue Polygon Slag Glass Shade. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. The base was originally from a floor lamp and the shade was a swag hanging lamp. The cap-cover and finial have a fastener and pull up to access socket for bulb replacement (see photos). There are fleur de lis on upper part of shade but one of them back by henge is missing (seep photos). There are areas of patina or tarnish and blemishes on the metal (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass (see photos). The shade frame has some chipped missing paint (see photos).
