Very nice vintage lamp shade. This piece has a great look to it and measures roughly 18″ wide by roughly 9″ tall. There are no cracks or damage to the glass and the metal detailing is really beautiful. Please see all photos for details and feel free to ask any questions. Rare Atq Signed Salem Bros Red & Carmel Bent Slag Glass Handel Era Lamp Light
Up for sale is a beautiful antique Salem Bros designed lamp base and shade. The Carmel slag glass shade also has red slag glass shapes at the seams. This lamp has been rewired at some point I would guess based on the cord and plug in the 1950s. It is in beautiful condition and has all the original parts including the original Press pull chain light sockets (I do not know if the insides were changed). The lamp without the shade measures just over 24″ tall to the top of the finial and the shade measures 16 1/2″ across the bottom. Apparently Salem Bros was located in New York from 1898 to 1922 which would match the age of this lamp. Please note the white spots you see in the picture on the shade is Glare from our ceiling lighting!
