RARE- W. B. Brown Co Red, Gold Slag Glass Arts & Crafts/Mission Lamp early 1900′s
Rare and beautiful, from my parents estate I offer for your consideration this wonderful large mission arts and craft table lamp. It is a large lamp The shade measures approximately 12 inches from top to bottom, approximately 22 inches wide and the base of the lamp is 16 inches tall not counting the four wooden holders that holds the lampshade. The lamp is in very good shape for its age. I see that it had been rewired for there is a new socket on the lamp. The slag glass is in really nice shape. A long the rim of the shade you have a heart shaped in the center with smaller openings for slag glass. There are tiny cracks, on the four sides. You have to look real hard to find them. This is truly a beautiful mission Arts and craft styled lamp. Please look at all pictures very closely for they are part of the description. This is from the early 1900′s The original finish on this piece was in terrible condition, so it was refinished. It’s been painted with in a subtle gold finish then antiqued to give it an older appearance This is a heavy piece (nearly 8lbs) and made of cast iron. Vintage / Antique Stained Slag Glass Parlor Lamp with Palm Trees and Temple Scene. Beautiful vintage four panel accent table lamp. The lamp features a cut-out palm tree and architecture scene in gold, which stands out against the beige and tan slag glass. The brass metal ornate lamp shade is attached to the neck with a curved decorative wire attachment. The base is very sturdy decorated with ornate an embossed deco leaf pattern. Lamp is working great, turns on with pull chain cord. 17.25″ height x 8.5″ width. Base – 4.25″ x 4.25″. Lamp is in overall great shape for its age. Some markings and signs of wear on the base and neck as well as the fixture. There is one missing piece of glass in the lower corner of one of the panels. Slag glass lamp. Vintage beaded shade with contemporary branch base. Gold hues
Beautiful vintage slag glass lamp. This lovely lamp features a vintage, richly hued slag glass shade in hues of yellows and gold and a long beaded fringe in a chevron shape. Made and has a nicely branched twig base in a metallic gold hue with a 3-way light socket. The two make for a stunning pairing. This lamp measures aprox. 27″ tall (to the top of the included finial) and has a width of 16″ (the shade) the lamp base has a width of aprox. There are a few flaws: the main one being an S-shaped crack in one panel of the shade, but is stable (recommend some glue or clear tape along the crack on the inside for extra stability), and there is a section of beading missing, about 1 inch in width, and one strand hangs down slightly lower than the rest (all 3 of these flaws are referenced in the last photos). For your consideration, this spectacular Signed Bradley and Hubbard lamp with a magnificent stained glass shade. The original lamp appears to be gold plated? From the factory and is in beautiful condition for its age (see pictures). Stem base has a 2 /12 inch plated? The shade has spectacular bent glass edges showing the high quality of craftsmanship. The shade has no breaks or cracks, a couple of hairline heat lines as you would expect for lamp if this age. Double swivel sockets, typically of B & H design with Bryant sockets.
