One of the BEST Lamb Bro & Greene Leaded glass lamp. Stands 21″ tall 9″ foot. Shade is 18 x 7. 2 pull chain sockets working fine. Wired with a brown period style cloth cord & vintage plug. NO fractures no repairs. One thing Lamb was good at, longevity. Many of their shades stand the test of time. Beautiful base similar to many Unique Arts bases. Antique 1900′s 18.5 dia Salem Bros Bent Stained Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade
This is an incredible antique shade with hundreds of bent glass pieces that come together to form a perfect dome. Wonderful pattern and coloring in the glass. It is very unique. Every piece has a curve to it designed to fit exactly where it is. Hand leaded and assembled. Take a look at the photos and imagine the hand work that went into making this. Measures 18.5″ diameter x 8″ tall with a 1 1/2 diameter hole at the top. The bases belong to other lamps. I just used them to show you what it would look like. There are a few cracks but nothing serious. It displays wonderfully in a room. Thank you for looking! The lamp stands about 19 to the top of the finial. The shade is 6″ tall and about 14.5″ in diameter. The brass base is 7. I have showed 2 hairline cracks in the shade in the last photos. The shade is solid and has good color, caramel with green leave and ruby panels. The lamp base is brass. It has lost most of it’s lacquer finish but still displays nicely. Strip off the the remaining and have it re-laquered if you choose, and it will be a stunning base. There is 1 tiny ding to the base. The Bakelite protector over the hole for the cord has chipped threading and does not screw in tightly. Electrically it works fine, good cord, wall socket and pull chain. 1920s ART NOUVEAU SLAG GLASS BOUDOIR LAMP SALEM BROS
It is made of cast iron (base) with a sharply cast metal filigree shade with original amber slag glass panels. These slumped slag glass panels are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. It has been restored in cream & yellow with gold accents. This classy boudoir lamp stands 13 1/2 tall & measures 8 at the widest (shade). The base is 5 wide. The original Leviton socket with push-pole switch is rewired & it has a new wall plug. Weight = 5 3/8 lbs. Light bulb not included. Antique Slag Glass Scenic Lamp Shade Miller, Salem Bros, Bradley & Hubbard
Offered for sale is an antique style slag glass lamp shade with a scenic country-side design. I have no provenance for this lamp shade, but it looks to be a good match for either a Miller, Salem Bros. Or Bradley & Hubbard lamp base. The interior hexagon framing is steel reinforced, whereas the decorative metal is not magnetic (likely zinc and/or nickel with a bronze plating). I detect no significant damage other than some chipping of the slag glass panels only visible from the underside of the shade. The cottage windows design does show some missing muntins in a few of the panels. The lamp shade measures 16-1/2″ across the bottom, it is about 8″ high, and has a 3-1/2 opening on the top.
